Embers was recommended to us as a nice alternative to Phillips. We went at sunset...if you can get a seat near the large picture window, the view of the bay is awesome! There was a pretty good selection of food, so even the non seafood eaters among us were appeased. The crab was good as was the prime rib but... More

Me and my husband aren't seafood eaters but at Embers we found plenty of good food to eat besides the seafood. They were very busy but servers really kept up refilling our drinks and taking away dirty dishes. Would go there again.

I saw many good reviews for Embers. Many of the reviews compared this place to Phillips, so we decided to give it a try. What a big mistake and a waste of money! The crab imperial looked like mush. The appearance was not appetizing at all. The crab dip was nasty, looked like it was stuffed with imitation crab meat,... More

Last year when we went, it was a very busy night. The food was either almost gone or being refilled. This time we hit it at the perfect time. Lots of selections and everything was fresh. It is pricey ($33/per person) and we don't eat like crazy people. We go to this particular buffet as there is a selection of... More

Like any buffet the focus is on quantity and not quality. If you want quality go to an ala cart place. There are many items that are good and some that are not (crab imperial was terrible and the raw bar was sparse compared to Phillips). The big draw for me is the snow crab legs and they are great.... If you're like me and can't control the amount you eat, this may not be the place for you. There are too many selections to try everything in one seating. We waddled away well over stuffed! I won't be able to eat for days.

A bit pricey but great food and a great selection. Crab legs are the big draw here and they keep the trays full. Steamed shrimp are overly spiced (according to wife) but I thought they were good. Only one soup -Maryland Crab, of course - was OK. A choice would have been nice. We didn't try the carving station (Prime... More

My family does not really like buffets. We went to Embers not realizing this was buffet. Could not complain about the food. Awesome selection and everything was great. Won't go back because we all overate the point of feeling sick! But for people who like buffets you should love this place.
