My husband and I were looking for an AYCE crab restaurant. We checked Trip Advisor and found Higgins was very close to where we were staying so we decided to give it a try. We were hesitant to go due to the past negative reviews there but did not want to wait in the long lines at other establishments. We... More

We initially went to The Crab Bag 2 blocks away, but when we were told it was over an hour wait, we drove 2 blocks south and went to Higgins. We walked in and were seated right away (which should have been an indication of issues). $3.50 for a soda, $3.99 for a small draft beer, and most bottled beer... More

Be aware, you'll get nickel and dimed... 3.50 for a soda! That's how they keep the all you can eat lower than the surrounding places. Our daughters birthday, they said they would sing and bring a cake out. We'll, they didnt say they would charge $3 for it until we noticed it on the bill. Otherwise, great food. First set... More

The food was great, I had crab imperial and it was wonderful. They gave us free hushpuppies too which were so tasty. Cute kitschy decor. The service was a little slow despite not being busy

My family went here for dinner on a Satuday night...my husband wanted some crab legs. We arrived around 7:30 on a Saturday night...we were able to get seated fairly quickly and snagged a picnic table outside. The table itself was covered with brown paper for picking crabs. The seat portion of the table was gross...was incredibly sticky...just felt plain gross.... More

This was our 1st time visiting this place, and we were so happy that we made the choice in coming here. All week long, we've been wanting some crabs. We ordered the large all you can eat buffet. It came with corn, chicken & fries. I know from now on where to go if wanting crabs.

We returned to Higgins looking for some good seafood. We were not in the mood for all you can eat so we ordered off the menu. The food took almost an hour to get to us. It was just warm not hot. The soft shell crab was almost inedible. The stuffed shrimp consisted of only 5 shrimp and was $25.99.... More

Awesome steamed crabs, came during a special. Crabs and corn for $28.00. The crabs were perfectly seasoned and the corn sweet and hot. We had excellent service from Deena! Thank you Higgins for a wonderful meal!
