I took my friend to dinner to celebrate a new job and we had a wonderful time. The food was great, we had the clams casino, cream of crab, duck dinner and drunken chicken. We indulged so much there wasn't room for dessert! We were greeted warmly at the door and taken directly to our table. The view was beautiful... More

My husband had gone to the Hobbit last year and came home raving about how good it was and how he wanted to take me there. We couldn't go back before they closed for the season, so we decided to try again this summer. We were dissapointed, because we expecteda higher end restaurant experiance and did not receive it. The... More

My wife and I decided to take a day trip to Ocean City which is a little over two hours away. We just wanted to stroll on the boardwalk, enjoy the gorgeous weather and have a nice dinner with a view. I searched for good restaurants in OC with a view and The Hobbit seemed to have very good reviews... More

I come from a restaurant family in Ocean City. We have dined at most restaurants in OC and Fenwick. The Hobbit Restaurant continues to be one of our frequent stops. The food and atmosphere are to be considered fine dining by OC standards. The restaurant is located at the lower level of a luxury condo building. High ceilings and large... More

Great food, service and fantastic views. Menu always features fresh seafood and steaks as well as local specialties (crab cakes). Always a great experience!

Food was incredible, however we had a large family that doesn't mind spending money, however, no highchairs for children. We went early trying so kids would behave however it was upsetting with no highchairs or children's menu. Would recommend for all other occasions, just not family with children.

My wife and I went to the Hobbit for our 8 year anniversary. I got the Filet Mignon with Crab Imperial. It was the best steak. I have been to several steak houses such as Ruth Chris, Charlie’s and Morton's but the steak at the Hobbit was the best hands down. When you first arrive it is attached to a... More

My husband, brother, and I ate dinner at the hobbit last night. The hobbit was always a favorite restaurant for us in years past, however, my husband and I had been once When they first opened in the rivendell and we were not impressed. Since my brother was visiting, we decided to give it another try . The cream of... More

We recently took some friends for dinner at The Hobbit during restaurant week. The crab cakes, appetizers and desserts were fantastic. Our server was very attentive as well. The only negative was the fish special and vegetable which were not very good. We were offered to swap out the vegetable.

A long time restaurant with a facelift and great views of the bay. Started with a tasty salad with dried black cherries and a delicious light dressing. Soup of the day was Manhattan Clam Chowder served in a tureen instead of a bowl - it was tasty and full of veggies and clam pieces. The short rib with horseradish mashed... More
