It's Jan. 18. 2015. Ocean City Crab Alley is one of a few decent food places open that don't have health inspection citations listed by the state of MD. The dozen raw oysters were great and <$14.00. The cream of crab soup was also good. Fried oyster dinner was very good as was the cole slaw. Scallops and broccoli side... More

Crab Alley is one of the best restaurants around! Crabs are always full and delicious. Love the way they separate by size. When they say jumbo they really mean jumbo. Steamed shrimp is always excellent. I'm told the cream of crab is awesome (I don't like cream of crab soup). Maryland crab is great! Wait staff and bartenders are terrific,... More

Have Ben wanting to check out crab alley for some time now. My wife and I decided to head down to West O on a Friday night for some seafood. The place is pretty easy to find if you are a local, parking was easy and it was t overly crowded. I tried the oyster Rockefeller and my wife wanted... More

Four golfers went to the upstairs bar area twice and had excellent oysters and crab soup (both the creamy and tomato base). Wait staff were always good especially considering they had to go up and down the stairs to the kitchen. Pass on the shrimp basket.

We stopped in the CAR last night for our dinner. We called ahead but they advised we didn't need a reservation. We hadn't been there for a while and remembered how good our 1st experience was last year. The House and Caesar salads were very fresh and very good. My wife ordered the Grilled Shrimp and I had the Snow... More

We went here in mid October. It was one of the few places open. Their cream of crab soup is one of the best I've had. Lots of crabmeat and creamy. Their hius puppies were good too. Great service.

A week ago my husband and I went to Crab Alley for hard shell crabs. We arrived about 3:30PM on a Saturday and the place had plenty of seats available. We started with their Maryland crab soup. One of the best I ever had. We ordered a pitcher of beer and a dozen crabs. The crabs were extra large. Great... More

This is not a fancy place. As such I would expect to get some semblance of value for my dollar. For $18, I got a small crab cake and even smaller portions of potato salad and cole slaw. Really! The food tasted fine but hardly constituted a meal.

Crab Alley is one of finest restaurants in Ocean City, MD (read East Coast) for crab recipes. The location, ambiance at Crab Alley may not be as great as Phillips in Baltimore, MD or Island Creek in Boston, MA but crab, seafood quality is much better. Every time I'm in OC, I make it a point to go to Crab... More
