Exactly what we needed on a Saturday afternoon. We regret not getting the Jumbos, they are freaking huge!
This place is not fancy, but the food and the staff are wonderful. We drove around for awhile our friend wanted all you can eat crab. I will say this place had the best price. 27$ for crab, (our friend ate 14 of them) and chicken, corn and french fries. Someone else had the shrimp dinner, 13 very large shrimp,... More
Had the seafood platter. Very good, I think overall it tasted just a little better than the other place 2 blocks up, but the pieces were not as exotic. The other place included a soft shell crab, but this place gave a couple of scallops and oysters instead (in addition to fish, clams and shrimp). Overall, pretty good. Paid $27... More
Having only one night while passing through OC we checked Trip Advisor and came up with this restaurant near our hotel. Glad we did because this place is great. The service and food were excellent. Perfect MD crabcakes, little filler and just the right mix of seasoning. Great value and friendly atmosphere.
Been going to PGN for over 30 years now. Not much ambiance, but really good food at a fair price. Great crab cakes! Considering how totally overpriced many of the local restaurants are, PGN is always a good bet! Might not look look much from the outside, but so what? I'll continue to make it a point to visit PGN... More
I have been eating at PGN now for a few years. Best fried clams anywhere! Not frozen strips but big, fresh fried clams. Good sides to go with it, generous portions. Seafood platter and softshell crabs are excellent too! Small family owned place that is very comfortable and clean. I plan to continue eating there every summer! Service is very... More
I have been eating at PGN for a few years now and decided to go ahead and write a review. I always get the steamed clams as an appetizer. They are large and fresh, and are great dipped in melted butter! I have had the fried seafood platter and the soft crab dinner and both are excellent! They give you... More
I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was our last night in OC and we found online that they had the best crabs. My Aunt and Uncle were already out so my parents and I met them at PGN. They were going to ordered AYCE (All you can eat) Crabs but couldn't because all our party wasn't here... More
