Restaurant was in walking distance ro condo, so we decided to give it a try dispite the mixed reviews. We were able to get a table for 8 the time we wanted it using the online reservation, in fact the place was pretty empty at peak time. We were seated right away and the server quicky came by for food/drink... More

Service was great however crabs were disappointing. They tasted like they were rewarmed. The crab meat was mush.

We stopped in at Higgins Crab House on 31st and we were sat right away. After ordering our drinks (23oz draft beers!) our server Hunter served us the most delicious all you can eat crabs. We will definitely be going back on our next trip to oc!

This is by far the worst restaurant food my family and I have ever eaten; the New England clam chowder was tasteless and runny, the fish of the day was extremely overcooked its texture seemed a piece of rubber, the fried clams were practically breaded rubber bands and my Chesapeake seafood platter was a joke featuring the same overcooked fish,... Brought my family in at 630 on Sunday. Staff was around hostess stand just waiting around. Seated quickly. Then waited 15 minutes for service. Staff came by asked if we were helped yet. Said no and she would get us help. Another few minutes no one came by. We ended up leaving with no help or apology. Too expensive for... More

This is the worst seafood place I have ever eaten at. The food was cold, the portion size's were very small and the cost is too high for what ya get. The staff was not attentive and the place was not busy!! That should have told us something right there, but we figured we would try it. Never again. I... More

The chicken was good, the french fries and the hush puppies. We got the all you can eat blue crabs, not my favorite but I felt like that was the best value. If you get the snow crabs, you are charged $4.50 per pound, per refill. Technically that is not all you can eat. We were actually talking to a... More

We used to go to Higgins every year. This year the food was bad the service was awful and since I have been eating Maryland Crabs for over 35 years I can tell the difference between a small and medium. Our waitress and the cooks obviously could not. Don't fall for the all you can eat because you will wait... More

We went there again because it was in walking distance from our hotel. We were seated promptly and the waitress came and took our drink order right away and gave us time to look at the menu. My son and I had the all you can eat crab. I had shrimp, he had ribs. It also comes with fried chicken,... More

Great crab house that does the crabs perfectly. very impressed and glad we stopped there. I had 3 kids under 12 and they ate nearly 3 pounds of crabs between them! I also liked the French fries and hush puppies.
