Around 7pm, we get to the restaurant and are told our group of 5 would have to wait 35-40 minutes...being as this wasn't a pizza joint, that was reasonable. They told us w could walk around and they'd call us when the table was ready-which I thought was nice than having to stand there. After 30 min, we showed up... More

We only had wings and beer. I would go back to sample the crabs. I enjoyed the outside seating on the boardwalk.

Stopped in for a quick meal before a night out. Very much bar food greasy good! Staff was friendly but a little unorganized. Awkward tight set up. Could be good for crabs.

I cannot say how disappointed we were as we really wanted to give this place a try. I remember as a kid begging my parents to eat there. They never would, saying it was a dump and not worth it. I am sorry to say they were right. From the get-go, the experience was bad. We waited over an hour... More

Always like to eat at least once at the Mug and Mallet. Great crabs at a fair price. They updated the restaurant so it looks a lot nicer inside. You have an option to eat outdoors if you want. Don't have Coors lite in bottle which doesn't make my husband happy but he survived on a Miller lite. Food is... More

I had snow crab legs and my husband had chicken fingers and clam strips. The crab legs were good but can get messy because unlike other restaurants this place provides wood mallets rather than metal crackers. The mallet sprays juice at you which becomes messy and doesn't always do the best job of opening the crab. My husband liked his... More

We got into Ocean City around noon and went looking for steamed crabs on the Boardwalk. There was no one eating outside when we arrived but the hostess has a big smile and assured us their crabs were very good. We are so glad we stopped here. The service was fast and friendly, the food was good and we enjoyed... More

Worst food I have ever eaten!!!!! This place is good only if you are going to eat crabs & crablegs!!! I had the worst crab stuffed shrimp. Shrimp was boiled and crab stuffing was watery! Yuck!! Fried shrimp tasted like it came from a bag kept in the freezer. Cole slaw was disgusting! Never again!!
