Shrimp Great.....Everything else just okay

Got to Ocean City and really wanted some good seafood. We walked from our hotel so the location was somewhat convenient. We ordered for an appetizer their 1/2 pound of steamed "old bay" shrimp. They were excellent!!! Wish we would have just ordered more of those for our meal. I had the crab... read more

Pleasant dining atmosphere Server Joe was very attentive and helpful. Food was decent. Husband had a burger said it was ok. Mom had the crab cake and said it was good. I had shrimp tacos, decent. Worst cream of crab soup I've ever had tho. Maybe to some peoples taste but not mine. If you want to take the free... More

We've been here twice and mostly for the cruise! The food is average priced and very filling. I am allergic to seafood so there are plenty of other choices. The after dinner cruise makes it all worthwhile. The last cruise out the pilot gave us a "thrill" ride by hitting all the waves and really rocking the boat.

Very good Bloody Mary and the steamed shrimp was excellent. All served by a friendly staff in a friendly atmosphere along the bay.

Excellent all the way around! Nice atmosphere, nice view of the bay, great staff (except for the one waiter), excellent food and worth the price. A real plus: $2 sunset cruise on the bay with the meal. We had supper and we highly recommend going there for breakfast. The restaurant was located a nice walk from our motel.

It's been a few years since we've been here and hoped when we returned it would still be good. The fried flounder was still delicious. The menu has changed a bit so there were a few things we missed but we were not disappointed with the flounder or our brie wheel. We were however disappointed with the fries which looked... More

We had breakfast here and it was a disappointing experience. We arrived, stood at the hostess' station and were ignored for several minutes, while staff walked by, and appeared to avoid eye contact. Only three tables were occupied, so we sat at a table. Again, we were ignored. I finally buttonholed a passing staff member. She said she would bring... More

My wife & I went there for dinner on 9/1/15 about 5:45pm. My wife ordered the salmon with a Side Salad. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with chips & a pickle. We ordered the Clams Casio as a appetizer. The service was Ok - that was the High Light. The salmon was over cooked, very small with a Pesto... More

I had not been to The Angler in 25 years, until this past August. In 1990 I worked there for the summer as a waitress. I was proud to work there because it was a very nice restaurant then. People would ask where I worked, when I said The Angler the response was always about how hard work it must... More
