Captain's galley has the best crab cakes we've ever had. I almost never order them anywhere else. We always eat upstairs on the deck, it's more relaxed and casual with a view of the harbor. The wings are also very good, but they're the only other thing I've eaten there besides the crab cake.

We ate supper there on 5/12. I had the fried shore dinner - it was over cooked and very "bready". The crab cake was about half filler. The fries were pre-frozen beer dipped crap. At these prices, they could at least use good fries. My wife had broiled rockfish. She said "Let's not come here again". We won't.

Reading the reviews and loving crab cakes the way I do I had to try this Resturant. I have to say we got lost trying to find it ( was at night with no GPS). I had crab cake with a lobster tail (so delicious, cooked perfectly), my husband had shrimp and scallops over pasta( well seasoned and tender), my... More

This was one of three our B&B hosts recommended. It is waterside and served the most beautiful crab cakes I have ever seen. It is pricey but worth it.

This waterfront restaurant serves dynamite crab cakes. Big lumps of meat with just enough filler to keep them together. The second floor serves light fare while the dining room on the lower level is for the dinner crowd. Handicapped can always be served at any time on the first floor. The harbor view is an extra treat.

We decided to go out for lunch on NYeve rather than worry about the crazies on the roads tonight. Our favorite place to go is Captain's Galley II, and when we arrived, only the casual dining was open. The crab cake sandwiches were bountiful, full of lump crab meat, and delicious. Cole slaw and chips were on the platter. They... More

Apparently there is an upstairs menu and a downstairs menu. This presented a problem when my wife wanted something from the upstairs menu and I wanted something from the down. Though they had virtually no customers, there was no working around this issue, so we had to go somewhere else.

The food is nothing to remember though I didn't have to send anything back and my kid enjoyed his mac and cheese. We sat just outside of the pavilion out back and listened to live music by the water. It was enjoyable and I would return for the music and atmosphere.

This is a casual restaurant, we stopped in from our travels where we were heading south along the eastern coast of the USA. We wanted to eat in Maryland as we knew it was famous for crab. A friend recommended this restaurant and we were very pleased to find it. It was the best crab cakes that we ever had,... More
