Fausto, your Host is very charming and makes sure the food is superb and the atmosphere welcoming. He visits every table and takes time to chat. Moving to OC from Long Island in 2005, this is my family's favorite Upscale Restaurant. The prices are up there, but for a special occasion are truly worth it. Only the freshest veggies and... More

I have some NJ Italian advice for those considering this place – FORGETABOUTIT. Really! The wait staff were rude, inattentive, salesy, cocky, disorganized, unapologetic, unaccommodating, and did I mention rude. In over twenty years of traveling for business, this was the worst when it came to service. From simple requests (substituting Spaghetti for Penne) to being told, literally, what we... More

Apparently the owner only greets those he wishes to greet - he totally ignored our party, leading us to wonder why. Our waitress seemed annoyed with us when we declined the bottled water and things only went downhill from that point on. Waitress seemed determined to 'up-sell' us and wasn't even friendly about it. Nevertheless, we stayed, despite the wait... More

For an unforgrttable dining experience, with authentic Italian food and impeccable service, this is the place. I would put it on the same level as any 5 star restaurant, anywhere !!! And to boot, the owner, Fausto, is all the entertainment you need. and, he'll cook anything special you ask for, if it's not already on his menu. More

This was our third visit to Fausto's. He did not dissapoint. As others have stated, it is worth the wait and reservations are a must during peak season. My husband said it was the best sauce he's ever eaten (!). I got the veal scallopini marsala and it was perfect. The house merlot was fabulous. Iit is a bit pricey;... More

Fausto's specials of the day are always delicious. He grows his own tomatoes on site! Mozzarella in Carrozza and Timballo Abruzzese are MUST HAVES. Enjoy! More

I ordered takeout food after reading good reviews on trip advisor, and I was not disappointed. In fact I was surprised how good the food tasted. The sauce was really good & the pasta was fresh. The only reason I didn't rate them a 5 is the food was cold when I only lived minutes away...probably because they had 1... More

I agree with some of the reviews that say you have to wait..but whenever we go we forget all about the wait once our food comes. The pastas are amazing and my son is in love with the garlic steak. Yes, it is pricey..however, know this going in and you won't be surprised. The owner Fausto greets you with his... More

Dined with a party of four on a Monday evening. Greeted by hostess and owner. The ambience is delightful with soft Italian music . It is a more upscale restaurant for the area which is a nice option for fine dining. The table is set with linen tablecloth, linen napkins & sparkling and flat water (gas or no gas) and... More
