A beautiful late spring Fathers Day made for long waits at the popular restaurants in the center of the town of North East so we continued to the edge of town and found what appears to be where the locals eat! The food was served hot and simply delicious. American comfort food is the theme of the menu and the... More

My husband and I had breakfast here this morning. It was very good and the price was very reasonable. But.....it would've been nice if they asked me if I wanted more coffee....I mean, its morning....coffee is needed, and we couldn't get the servers attention...my husband had to actually leave the room to ask for more coffee. They should also get... More

Not happy with our meal at Pier One. I've been very happy with breakfast and dinner. This was a total disappointment. I had a chicken parm sandwich. It was in a small piece of meat in a gigantic roll. There was not much to it so I kept ripping off the roll to find the meat. My daughter got the... More

I have been here several times and I love the crab soup and crab cakes....but the past two times there has been hair in my food.Last visit it was my soup and this time on my pickles. ..yuck! Plus the waitress was just beyond unpleasant since we walked in...just very nasty to me and my well behaved girls...Sorry but I... More

I have eaten fried shrimp in a lot of places, but Pier 1's are the best! Very lightly breaded and not over cooked. There are a number of sides to choose from including twice baked potato, home made potato salad and cole slaw, broccoli, etc. They bake their own bread and it's delicious. My granddaughter likes the Italian dishes best.... More

I made my first visit to Pier 1 for dinner recently on my way back to Baltimore from the Elkton area. I had read some great reviews of this place, so I figured it was worth a try. And I'm glad I did. I had the chicken parmigiana, which was served with a side order of spaghetti and a salad.... More

The Maryland Crab Soup had "special crabmeat" in it, but reminded me of a can of stewed tomatoes with some frozen vegetables added - $3.50 a cup. Just OK. My Turkey Club on Rye was very good. They make their own turkey in-house. Crabcake....Very good, but a little small for $9 at lunch. Service was very very friendly but sloooooooooow.... More

This is a very casual "down-home" family restaurant with extraordinarily good food. It has classic "Chesapeake" decor with herons, lighthouses, crabs and the like. The grilled rockfish is the best I've had anywhere.
