Came for late lunch on a Sunday. We had Wagyu beef burger, lamb meatballs, heirloom tomato salad, and a wonderful lemon pudding cake. The olive oil they infuse for dipping bread is very good. I will come back soon! Loved the decor, and it was relaxing.

Had dinner for the first (and last) time 8/16. My grilled octopus appetizer was outstanding, well seasoned, almost spicy and so tender I cut it with a fork. I ordered the halibut special as an entrée. Very disappointing. It was a tiny piece of fish. It was perfectly cooked, but it had no seasoning, no lemon, no butter, no sauce... More

We had a wonderful meal here last evening, and would not change anything. We were with a group of six, and everyone was happy. The service was perfect, we shared some salads, and we had risotto, halibut and a Cjicken Harrisa. Everyone loved their meals, and we will return. Recommend you try it , too!

Excellent experience, from start to finish. Great cocktail menu, with interesting inventive drinks. The swordfish was exquisite. Will return with friends soon!

The Wildwood Kitchen was a great experience from the moment we sat at the bar. The bar maid was amazing with great knowledge of her trade including fantastic old style tonics. The atmosphere is fresh, the staff wonderful and the food amazing. Our server, Nathan, informed us when starting, he was new but was wonderful. It was obvious they trained... More

Several months ago, I wrote a negative review due to poor service from the Maitre D. A few weeks ago, I bumped into the chef outside the restaurant and he encouraged me to give the restaurant another chance. I did so -- and had a wow experience. The food was delicious, the service outstanding -- a truly memorable evening.

I enjoyed it enough last year that I decided to come back for seconds and was richly rewarded. This is one of those plate-art joints where everything on the lunch menu sounds good and looks better. When tastes run wild, its best to split split everything, and so we did. We split the scallops, wagyu burger and lamb meatballs and... More

This was our third visit and the worst. We went for Sunday brunch. The menu sounded quite interesting but the product was very disappointing, highlighted by a subsequent visit to another restaurant (Bucks outside San Francisco) for brunch where the food, value and atmosphere were superb. Wildwood Kitchen offered lamb sausages, eggs and hash browns. The sausages were two wizened... More

I had the lamb meatballs as an entree. They were quite good. All three companions had the salmon, which they really liked. They no longer have the chardonnay we liked on previous visits (Campus Oak). We had another chardonnay from the Russian River Valley and it was quite good. All-in-all, this is a very nice neighborhood restaurant--informal.

My wife and I had a reservation for 5:45 and arrived a few minutes early. We were placed by the window on a cold evening. My wife immediately felt cold and we asked to be moved to a table away from the window. At that time, only one other table -- also by the window was occupied. The Maitre D'... More
