Drovers now called The Springs, very good, but inconsistent

Just had dinner here, many things I really like, but just enough inconsistencies to keep me from going back as often as possible. Our waitress was obviously new, but she got help as needed from another waiter who was excellent and when she had trouble opening our wine, the chef/owner came to... read more

Just had dinner here, many things I really like, but just enough inconsistencies to keep me from going back as often as possible. I have eaten here twice, I've been very impressed with just how creative and delicious each course is. My favorite dish, the Strog-Meister, I crave often and need to get over there soon! Warm, quaint atmosphere and the kindness/warmth of the staff keep this as my go to place for fine food with generous portions!

We have been here several times now. They do not dissappoint. The food and service are outstanding. Scallops, Salisbury steak, stroganoff, duck fat fries, etc are all wonderful. The sauces/reductions are incredible. Look forward to going back.

Just left here...online they advertise a very nice happy hour advertisement "Tuesday-Friday 5-7pm" that offers special food offerings and 1/2 price drink specials including house wines. Well, I ate there tonight with a friend and combined we had 4 glasses of house wine. When the bill came, I was surprised to see that we were charged full price when all... More

Stopped for dinner driving from Baltimore to Martinsburg, This is NOT IN Mt. Airy but very easy access off 70. We made an online rez for 8pm and arrived at 7pm- traffic not as bad as expected. Two other tables of 6 and another two top arrived almost simultaneously stretching the one waiter on duty, Scott. This was a classic... More

We had tried Drover's several years ago and found it so tired and uninspired that we never returned, despite living only a few miles away. Recently new signage went up--Springs Landing--so we thought we'd check it out. It still doesn't look like much on the outside, but walk in and what an improvement--an airy, updated, inviting dining room and bar.... More

Drovers has changed its name to springs landing creating more of a pub atmosphere. Mallory was the bartender and our waitress as we chose to sit in the bar. She was excellent. She recommended the filet and Chef Kevan appeared to say how he had only the petite filets which we decided to go with. Out of this world. And... More

Divers is a polished gem hidden in the countryside. The food quality and value is unbelievable for this quaint little place. The chef will accommodate just about any request, so allergies, vegetarians, etc. can all enjoy his masterpieces. He is also an opera singer and holds special events at the restaurant with other singers. Service is impeccable at Dovers. It... More

Drovers is off the beaten path off old 144 in a tiny house, you might miss it if you aren't paying attention. We have been there several times, and I must say the food is excellent each and every time! Top notch gourmet food to say the least. The opera night was interesting, having someone singing opera in the corner,... More

We had another great time at Drover's. This was our second time there, the first was an opera night and it was amazing. Tonight was a five course meal with love songs. All five courses were both tasty and beautiful. The music was lovely and the atmosphere welcoming. Great waiter and fun time.
