Good Pulled Pork

We were visiting the area and stopped in for Pulled Pork Sandwiches and sides of coleslaw. The sandwiches were large, very tasty. The coleslaw was good, just different. There are so many ways to make coleslaw, it's fun to try different types. The manager and son were very helpful, friendly. A... read more

We enjoy good barbeque. The meat was tasty & the portions we received were generous. Would be nice if the sandwiches would include a side-pricing in line with other places for sandwich/side. Didn't care for the baked beans or the cole slaw. Overall impression was just luke warm...not sure I would return if we are back in the area.

We were there last weekend while visiting the area. We were surprised to learn that just a bbq sandwich was almost $9, and you had to buy your sides separately. With 2 sandwiches, two sides, and two drinks, our bill was almost $30. While it tasted good, i don't think it was worth the cost.

Not worth the money. Really. We have a red, hot and blue near us back home that we go to frequently. The ribs at Archie's, I would send back at red, hot and blue. Lunch sandwich specials are much cheaper than at Archie's too. Nice folks behind the counter, just mediocre barbq. Not much for choice around here. We have... More

We popped into Archies to grab a bite to eat. From the moment the smokey aroma hit us at the door we knew this was going to be good! The food was absolutely delicious with huge portions that we could not finish. Other travelers tipped us off to ask for their award winning habanero sauce and I'm glad we followed... More

A little pricey, but we loved the barbecue. Had the pulled pork and ribs. Get the ribs! Relaxed environment, good for families.

If you're from Texas or anywhere down South the BBQ up here is just different. That's what you will get at this restaurant. The cornbread was cold and didn't seem done. The brisket was a little warmer than room temperature and very bland with no smoke flavor. The potato salad was pretty good which is the only thing I ate.... More

Welcoming atmosphere. Really quick service. If not on the counter by the time transaction and usual conversation done , then it is brought to your table almost as soon as you settle in. Family favorites are pulled pork and pulled chicken. Archiei Dog and ribs. Baked beans are laced with half-smoke and chunks of smoked pork or beef, pleasant discovery.... More
