Service here is the highlight. Crabs are mediocre, salmon was overcooked, salsa for salmon was obviously from a jar. Outdoor seating is basically in the parking lot and indoor seating is cramped. Place felt dirty. So many good seafood houses in Baltimore area, never a need to go here.

The restaurant USED to be a decent place to eat. We would usually go there a few times a year. Our frustrations the last few visits have let us know that we need to find another place. 1st visit this year: We made 6pm reservations for dinner and crabs. We got there about 5:55 and were told that, although our... More

I want to begin with the fact that I never ever complain so much about a restaurant, and I never allow a fuss to be made when my family was at a restaurant but this visit got to me. We had seven family members and my one year old grandson. My family ordered three dozen xlarge crabs for their dinner.... More

Pre order your crabs. This is truly the suburban restaurant for crabs. There's lots of space, too. Friendly wait staff. Ocean Pride has been here for a long time, so proves its worth. Very casual.

This was my 3rd, and final visit to this establishment. The service was horrible and the food is fair at best. On my final visit, I ordered the seafood quesadilla. It was VERY light on the seafood (like almost empty), and a good portion of it was burned. Now you would think the cook would have prepared a new one... More

I had been to Ocean Pride several years ago. I have moved from the area but was back visiting some friends and was in the mood for crabs. Well I was certainly not dissapointed in anything I had that night! Crabs were the BEST I have ever had, the server was friendly and attentive and the bartenders made me feel... More

Being born and raised 5 miles away I have been going to Ocean Pride (OP as the regulars call it) for thirty years. I went with parents, friends, dates and it was a regular meeting place for us when were in our twenties. I have seen its ups and downs but was excited when new ownership took over 7 or... More

The crabs are decent, if a little overpriced, but the real delight is the cream of crab soup. Some of the best I've had anywhere.

This is our regular place for crabs, every 5 months or so. A special treat. Just a dozen crabs, pitcher of beer, and each other and we're happy. The crabs were a tad smaller than we thought for XL, but they were great. The one that wasn't was replaced quickly, with a few extra claws!! Waitress handled the entire tent... More

I had 3 brothers and 2 sisters-in-law visiting from across the country. Dan and Sandy, from Texas, were looking forward to having crabs in Baltimore. We went to Ocean Pride and the experience was not a good one.
