A friend directed us to G&M and highly recommended the crab cakes. Being from the West Coast I'm used to the delicious, sweet Dungeness crab...best just plain, maybe with a little butter. I'd had Maryland crab cakes twice in the past, once recently in Baltimore, both times with the same results...a little crab, a lot of filler and always a... More

First, the crab cakes are the best. Better than the upscale places in Baltimore harbor, Large, golden, half spheres of lump crab, no fillers, juicy, tasty, " simply the best ". OK, as to the overall dining experience, I have been here 5 or 6 times over 3 years of traveling through BWI. I find it to be large, friendly,... More

we were seated on the second level which was empty even thought the first floor had empty seats. we felt bad asking the middle aged waiter to keep going up and down the steps for drinks and sour cream etc, so we did with out. Prime rib was very good, t bone was average

WORST SERVICE AND WORST ATTITUDE I have ever experienced at any restaurant ever. I called for a reservation for 5 people. They said they couldn't take a reservation but just come on down. 10 minutes later we get there and there's a 45 minute wait and when I say you never told me that on the phone, they said, well... The restaurant was packed with diners on a Thursday evening. I found The wait staff to be outstanding and willing to help with suggestions. I thought the food was average. I had a steak with very little flavor and certainly not as good as what I can do at home myself. My brother had a similar experience.

On a Tuesday evening at 7 PM I could had trouble getting parking and there was a line of customers waiting for a table. I left, but returned the next evening a bit earlier. Around 6 PM I found open spaces in the lot and no waiting line inside. I chose to eat at the bar, as I often will... More

Not far from BWI or Baltimore is this now greatly enlarged, long-time area restaurant that has grown but not lost its soul: G&M. The crabcakes are HUGE and loaded with backfin, seasoned perfectly, and held together ever so delicately. One is a meal; two are two meals! The vegetables are steamed nicely. It has a large menu with something for... More

This place has improved their dining scene but they also raised their prices. I'd rather have less fanciness and better prices. Go for the crab cakes. Some of the best in Baltimore.

Whether you are just stopping for a sandwich, or a sit-down full meal, this is the place for you. The crab cakes are large and all crab, the shrimp salad sandwiches are so large it's hard to get your mouth around it, and the prices are reasonable for what you get. The "to-go" side has wonderful bakery items and that's... More

I love a good crab cake and will try them pretty much anywhere. I was looking forward to trying them here and was pretty disappointed. I found them to be quite salty and tasteless. Yes, they were big, with lots of crabmeat, but the breading was just bland. You'll have to ask for a dill/tarter sauce if you want it... More
