Bay Leaf has great Indian food near the BWI Airport tucked in a small strip of stores. For a restaurant located near an airport and airport motels the food was surprisingly good. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was modern and clean. I had the tandoori chicken and garlic naan. I also wanted saag paneer but did not... More

A colleague and I went there last night. It was quiet, mainly because there was the Army vs Navy game on in the area that night. I had the lamb samosas and they were good. My colleague had the vegetarian samosa with chick peas and enjoyed them but felt they were a little spicy for him. I then had the... More

I think this is some very good Indian cuisine. I'm always surprised that it's not busier with all the hotels and travelers that are nearby. One major downside is they do not serve alcohol. I nice beer or wine with your meal sure would be nice. I will still keep going however.

Therefore no alcohol. While appreciating the authenticity of this prohibition, it's not for me. And the choice of alternatives ran only to soft drinks, apparently. So, to the food: excellent alloo tikka (potato cakes) for appetizer. Lamb korma was OK. The sauce was tasty, but "medium spicy" was very mild. The lamb was good in that it was tender, and... More

It was my first time eating in an Indian restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. The wait staff was very helpful when I was trying to order from an unfamiliar menu and the food was very good.

We didn't want to do the chains in the area so we stopped in at this Indian restaurant. Decor was quite nice, food was very good and service was spot on. We got the Naan bread and it was very good, came with three sauces all very delicious. Strongly suggest anyone at goes there to spend the extra couple dollars... More

Understand everyone how exciting it is to have options other than fast food or franchises. The lunch buffet was excellent! Everything well prepared for color, taste and texture. Plenty of items for vegetarians and meats included chicken and lamb. A real treat. Good music too.

The place wasn't clean and one of their waitress was very pushy. Maybe she is the wife of owner? I don't know. But their food was pretty good. If you like spicy food, you got to tell them you want the Indian's level. Otherwise, their spiciness is like the European style. Their medium is like mild. Also, they don't carry... More

Very nice waitress who was the only non-Indian in the place but took great care of us. Her recommendations were spot on and the food was very tasty, very extensive menu too. Unfortunately they don't serve wine or beer.
