I decided to try the #1 rated restaurant in Linthicum. I ordered a chicken salad, which was very good, but I could not enjoy it as they took 26 minutes to make it and I had about 5 minutes to eat it. I decided to give them a second chance, but gave myself ample time. This time they took 35... More

We've been going to Maiwand from time to time over the last 9 years and it never disappoints. Portions are large and the food is extremely well prepared. The pumpkin is divine and I especially like the salmon. I just wish it was a true sit down restaurant!

This is average Afghan food. Not bad, but hardly deserving of the gushing reviews here. Staying nearby, I thought -- based on reviews here-- "gotta give it a try". Charitably, I'd call it "fair". Aushak, the triangular ravioli-like dish, which can be light and wonderful, was heavy and goopy. Not bad, but hardly five stars. Plenty of places do it... More

A must visit restaurant, spectacular food! The food is very good, we all ordered the chicken and lamb combo which was perfectly spiced. The tandoori bread is to die for along with the side rice with the carrots and raisins. Prices are dirt cheap and a platter is almost enough for two adults to share. Great place and service was... Whether you are a regular fan of kabobs and Afghan cuisine or a potential first-timer, I have two words of advice – Go Here! The food is really, really good. It will satisfy both long-time middle eastern aficionados and is still approachable for novices. I typically buy a handful of items and share them with everybody. It’s all good. One... More

I stay in the Baltimore area twice a month... When the snow storm came in this January, most restaurants & businesses closed up.. When you stay @ a hotel with no restaurant.. HOW THRILLED all of the guests are to walk next door & enjoy the most delicious cooked to order, Lamb, Chicken Kabobs & GREAT fresh salads & Baklava... More

I used to come here quite frequently when I lived in the area and now that I'm back to living on the West coast, I miss this place. There is nothing like it in my area. If you're new to this restaurant, I recommend for lunch getting the gyro. It's so flavorful and tasty, you'll love it. However, if lamb... More

Love this place. Wish it had more seating so always get the food to go. Call ahead and place your order so you can avoid the wait. The food is freshly prepared and always taste great.
