Good food -- nice service.

I ate dinner here on 29 October. The staff was professional and friendly. The service was prompt and attentive. It was very cool to be sitting next to the window facing the railroad tracks and a high speed freight train zoomed by...fun! This spot has a good bar but also has plenty of quiet... read more

Travelling with a colleague who recommended this place and I was not disappointed, The fried deviled eggs were outstanding - never had them before but will look out for them now. The grilled Caesar salad was crisp and cooked perfectly. The crab cakes were delicious, too, and the service was wonderful - friendly, helpful and attentive. Will definitely be back... More

I've frequented Casey's for many years. The ambience is relaxing in the main dining area. Unfortunately, the food and service has not been what it once was in the past. However, I will continue to eat here as it is the nicest restaurant in the area for fine dining.

Have been dining here for about eight years and it has been mediocre for the last three. The dining room menu has changed to be nothing more than overpriced versions of what is served in the bar area, the wine list is below average and the service ranges from fair to terrible depending on the night. Southern Maryland is waiting... More

Went for dinner and was very disappointed. Best thing on the menu looked like the rib eye. They didn't have any baked potatoes, oysters and also didn't have the wine we selected from the menu. The food was average, the service was below average. Very disappointing considering that this used to be THE premier restaurant in La Plata as of... More

My family and I always look forward to dining here. We've stopped by for hors' d'oeuvres, brunch, or simply enjoyed 3-course meals as part of a celebratory event. The food is consistently fresh, tasty and presented well. Staff are attentive, and we have never had to wait. I particularly love the fact that their meals taste like they are home... More

Whenever we are in LaPlata, we have lunch here. The service and food is always wonderful. We have never been disappointed. There are daily specials and the menu changes often enough to give a great variety. The decor of the restaurant is charming. It is a great local restaurant and a nice change from chain restaurants.

This restaurant was recommended to me by two of the guys with whom I played golf at the Swan Point GC about 20 miles away in Issue, MD. I ate there for lunch on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. The food was great and the service was good. Prices were a bit pricey, but the food made up for that. The... More
