Amazing

Food was amazing, service was exceptional! Everyone was so nice and the sausage gravy and biscuits was so good. Will definitely come again in the future.

While staying at a local hotel I saw this old looking diner called Franks Diner. I've always been intrigued by Diner's and local spots that aren't so commercial. I did what everyone else normally does now look at the reviews on here and decide if i want to go. Frank's was well worth it particularly the Country Fried Steak with... More

We were looking for a quick lunch while traveling and didn't want a chain restaurant or fast food. We were warmly greeted and quickly served a good crab soup on a cold January day. Although it wasn't even 2pm we ordered from the dinner menu. I had the fish and fried cabbage. Good food! Dad had meatloaf. He said it... More

The owner is ex-military (nothing against ex military (I am a veteran) but as a paying customer I refuse to be treated like a recruit in his army. If the number of cars is any indication as to how good the place is then the rating is zero (because I pass there just about everyday and never see more than... More

Went to Frank's out of pure convenience as I was staying next door at the red roof inn. The breakfast menu was typical diner food. Eggs pancakes ect. Other than the eggs having a surcharge added bcuz of the shortage the prices were reasonable. The only thing I didn't like was they use margarine on the toast and pancakes and... More

Remarkably limited menu for a "diner". We waited a while in the tight tables for our order to be taken. Settled for the one reasonably acceptable choice. Nursed our drinks for a while, waiting and waiting. Then the server came back and asked us if we wanted our bread toasted. Yes, please. Then we waited a while longer and the... More

We returned to this diner for lunch being that we had stopped here three years ago on a similar trip to the South. This time it was a disappointment. Overpriced food, dirty bathrooms that smelled like urine. Overall appearance was extremely out of date. They seem to nickel and dime you for everything. First I was charged an extra 12... More

Great menu and non-expensive pricing definitely recommend if your staying at the Red Roof right next door.
