Great Service

The service at the restaurant was amazing. The pork belly starter was underwhelming but the main's were delicious, the meatloaf and the fried chicken breast (a unique take on chicken cordon bleu). Deserts were mixed, the chocolate nutella cake was overpowered by the layer of milk chocolate (server... read more

I have visited Franklin's four times and each time I go it is an expierence. I like to sit upstairs and eat because sometimes someone comes in with a guitar and just plays for the friends at his table. What fun....,The bar tenders are so friendly and the food is great. One thing I noticed was how many people order... More

The food was very good. They are a brewery as well, and based on the beer and wine they sell in the general store, they have quite a selection. Franklin's was able to accommodate our party of 16 at the last minute. We had one server who was awesome, smiled, didn't get frazzled at all. The two story front room... More

We were in town visiting family and tried Franklin's as it was recommended to be good. The parking was easy next to the building and was free after 8 pm. We loved all our choices - the pulled pork was the best out of everything we ordered. Will definitely get that again. The California pizza was very good with the... More

One of our favorites when visiting family who live nearby. Great restaurant with friendly wait staff and an extensive menu. Every meal has been delicious and satisfying. Ribs sellout fast so order early. Restaurant owners offer generous opportunities for local charities.

Franklin's is a fun local restaurant and brewery. They pride themselves on using local products when possible. Service is always good and friendly. Added extra bonus is Franklin's General Store , a great place to shop before or after a meal.

It may be noisy and crowded but for selection and quality Franklin's is still the go to place in Hyattsville Service is friendly and attentive and prices are reasonable. Selection is large, too. What more can one ask for a lunchtime place?

Franklin's is definitely an institution in the local area. Great selection of beers (and they rotate the selection so you can try new stuff all the time) and a nice eclectic menu still full of classic (but delicious) burgers and other main fare. The menu also changes with the seasons so you will get seasonal specials. Appetizers are generous and... More

Very eclectic menu that covers all the favorites with reasonable prices. We came during a very busy time and used the wait to visit the extremely diverse over stocked general store. You will have product overload. Restaraunt is loud and active. The employees are incredibly hard working and focused on providing the best experience available, they work well together to... More

Franklins is a fun place for lunch or dinner. Family friendly. Also has a bar upstairs and place to watch the game. Seasonal brews plus my very basic favorite, the bombshell blonde. Always fun names for their beer brewed onsite. Menu is basic American. Features seasonal specials. Make sure you leave time to visit the store. I buy all my... More
