Trying hard to go beyond Old Bay seasoning

It is hard not to be impressed with the quirky, eclectic, and charming atmosphere of this eatery. If nothing else, it is a nice respite from over priced crab cakes and tilapia. On the other hand, the Ritz always seems to struggle with an identity. Is it a gourmet dessert place? Is it a upscale... read more

Havre de Grace, Maryland in time will really make its mark. In fact, I predict it will be a main attraction in Maryland. Many restaurants have elevated their properties and cuisine to a higher level. The Tide Water Inn is one. It's well established with the locals. On the water and outside seating and good fare makes this restaurant a... More

We were traveling on I95 and this restaurant was mentioned in a guide book. So we exited off the highway and drove about 10 minutes into the downtown area. All of the tables have a nice view of the water. It must be very lovely in nice weather but we had a cold rainy day. We ordered the crab soup... More

This is the place to go if you want a generous and very flavorful sandwich. Not your average deli, the menu is full of flavor combinations and ethnic choices you won't find anywhere else.

This is a very tiny cafe but the food is excellent. Everything was very fresh. My salad was one of the best I've had in awhile. The tomatoes were particularly delicious, which at this time of year is unusual. I had a couple of different types of chicken salad and both were very tasty. I also had the hot apple... More

We stopped late for dinner. The waitress stayed late to serve us. The menu is huge with yummy choices. We were not disappointed. Cool decorated rooms and reasonable prices. Will go back.

Well worth the visit. I strongly recommend the lunch specials. The restaurant was unique and had a good view of Havre de Grace. You can see the water from the restaurant side.

The Ritz is very cozy and the coffee and food are excellent. The atmosphere is average but what they lack for in one area they make up for in others. Very original sandwiches and salads but this is not your average sandwich shop. Delicious fare for a lazy day so I hope you're not in a hurry!

This little cafe is a little hidden gem in Havre de Grace. The service is not rushed as everything is made to order. Last night I had a delicious crab salad with fresh mango, avocado, strawberries, sliced almonds on spinach. My husband had seafood salad with Jumbo Key West Shrimp Salad, Tuna Salad and crab salad on mesculyn salad and... More

We were touring the area and stopped in for lunch when we became hungry. The thing that drew my attention was their sign out front about their she crab soup. During the course of our stay in Maryland, we had stopped at several places for that exact same soup so we thought we had a lot of experience with how... More
