Bit pricey, good service

We wandered in during a day trip to H de G. $5 Taco special was very good. I selected blackened shrimp and Ahi tuna. My daughter had quesadillas - $10 - and my son had a Hawaiian burger for $14. We shared dessert - Salted Carmel Cake for $5.50. Service was very good and the scenery was lovely. Food... read more

The location does not quite outweigh the facts that the food is average quality and overpriced. We had soup and appetizers for our dinners, and the bill was a lot higher than we had planned. The crab cake appetizer was not as good as we would have liked. The entrees appeared to be priced high; to be fair, we did... More

This is a seafood place and seafood is notoriously seasonal. The night I was there the crabcake was great, the fish was ok, and the oysters were dreadful.

We visited MacGregor's with a group for a business dinner. Although we enjoyed the experience, nothing stood out as special. The place is old but just tired, not charming. The food was ok but not great. The wine selection was very basic although reasonably priced. Service was good handling a group and the waitstaff very friendly.

The 2 stars are for the good service. The décor is so dated and the tables are too close together on the deck. The menu we received was very limited, we arrived at 4:30 on a Sunday. The menu only had 13 entrees priced at $23 and up, no sandwiches or anything casual. I expected a much larger variety. They... More

Sat outside and had some cocktails. Loved the view of the water although this isn't right on the water. They had a good 80s band around 9pm and wish I could have stayed. Looked like fun. Havre de Grace is a beautiful town. I recommend a visit.

MacGregor's patio is a great venue for hangin out. The pretty view and casual atmosphere "require" you to just chill. Food is typical "bar food"... nothing out if the ordinary, but there is variety and i did not walk away hungry. check it out yourself...

This is our favorite place in Havre de Grace for lunch. We usually are there on Sunday around lunch time. My husband got the Maryland crab soup which he said was great with chunks of crab meat. I got the cream of crab which was fine but needed a bit more crab. I got the special fish BLT sandwich which... More

You can see the picturesque Susquehanna River while dining inside or outside. There are a variety of different choices to try. The dishes are nicely presented. Lunch portions are perfect for average eaters although light for a healthy appetite. Dessert options are decadent.
