I like this "old school" Chesapeake crab house, will loads of old-timey atmosphere. It's a little expensive, so bring some sort of coupon (I use restaurant.com, but I think they're also on some of the "daily deal" sites). The old reliable dish is their broiled (not fried) crab cake platter. Delicious. I also like their soups (the cream of crab... More

Traveling north on November 1, 2013.. Party of 6 had planned to stop at Baltimore Inner Harbor for lunch. We were making great time and decided it was too early for lunch. We decided to continue to the Shore of Chesapeake Bar. A quick 3G search brought up Prices Seafood. They had just opened when we arrived. Certainly off the... More

Liked getting my hands "crabby" as we learned how to crack those crabs. We got mounds of crabs to work on. Can you say "old bay"?

Folks drive from NJ, PA, DE, DC and VA to eat excellent MD crabs at Price’s, serving local Chesapeake Bay crabs for almost 70 years, since 1944. This venerable little crab house is easily accessible from I-95 and overlooks the junction of the Susquehanna River and the Bay. “Old Bay” seasoning is used in abundance, along with your choice of... The crabs were very good but we ordered 18 large and there 4 no bigger than mediums at the bottom of the pile so that they couldn't be seen until the end. The decor is like a crab shack with a view of construction equipment by the waterfront. The small crabs plus the small piece of pie for about $7-8... More

Our local crab shack closed and we were in search of a new place to get our Maryland delicacy. We stumbled across Prices' Seafood on the water in Havre de Grace. They offer a custom blend of what they appropriately call Price's seasoning (mixture of black pepper and salt) and then offer to add Old Bay. That's how we got... More

Not fancy, but since 1934. It is on the water and offers a nice menu selection. This is were the locals eat. It is noted for a crab shack and the customers were busy shucking and cracking blue crabs. We had the crab cakes and they were cooked prefect with chunks of crab. Carol our waitress was on top of... More

-A reservation is a must to guarantee crabs, which would be fine if they answered the phone. They were also out of a few other things. -Price's will not split into multiple checks so be aware of that if you come with friends. -Waterfront view is semi-ruined by construction (this didn't matter to us but may to some) -Check the...
