Average Italian with novel dining experience..

I went because I got stuck in Baltimore and needed a bite to eat. I went on Trip Advisor and found Cantina Mamma Lucia. I walked in and asked if they were ITalian.. They weren't.. Which is a red flag...They had a cafeteria style kind of ordering system and pickup. With a nice salad bar as you... read more

Dear Sir, My brothers and I are the owners and sons of Italian immigrants. My mother is from a town in Southern Italy called Mileto and my father, who is also a partner here is from a town outside of Naples called Guardia Lombardi. If you would have asked if the owners are Italian, the answer would have been, "very... More

I was just at Cantina Momma Lucia, and I was disappointed with most of the visit. The spagetti sauce was, or tasted canned. The Meatball, although huge, was once again, average. The salad bar, however, was pretty decent. you have to reach very far to get most things. There was a pretty decent selection for a smaller one. I was... More

Thanks you for taking the time to write a review. It doesn't seem that you were disappointed with most of your visit since you pointed out several things you enjoyed and thought two items, our homemade sauce and meatballs, were average. Please stop by and try one of our Italian specialties for a better idea of our menu. More

Close to work and a pretty good place to eat lunch. Enjoyed their special each time I have dined here. Did hear a customer complain about a crab dish once when they advertised lump crab but all they got was minced crab. Pizza is good. Had them do a business lunch once and it went over really well with my... More

Friends took us here and we were delightfully surprised by the high quality of the food. The serving were almost too much, we end up taking some home for a great lunch the next day. The prices were reasonable and we will certainly be going back when we're in the mood for good quality Italian food.

Nice place tucked in a shopping center. The decor is nice & the place is clean. The food was very good. Nice, broad menu with Italian & American offerings. The chicken Parmesan was really good-with large pieces of chicken. The shrimp marinara was very tasty. The salad bar is a nice touch. The New York style cheesecake is the real... More

This is pretty much the local cliche' Italian place. Lots of red sauce or sauce in general. Pizza that is overpriced for what you get. Veal parm buried in sauce and cheese, etc. If that's what you want, it's good but not a great value. It's my "only because it's close" place.

Best time to come is during lunchtime during the week. there is a msorgasboard fo italian favorites in a buffet setting. Ranging from pizza to various fish plates, to chicken parm to pasta and meat sauce. Food is great for a buffet. We actually went twice. The second time we went, it was not the buffet. Food was good but... More

What a delightful lunch we had. Service, portions and taste were excellent. Wish it was open later in the evening for late night diners.

The portions are huge, so it might be good to share. The salad had a bit too much dressing, but overall we were happy. It is crowded and noisy, so be prepared!

Great place in the middle of nowhere ( well, few minutes from the airport). I was not expecting a great place like this around here. The food was great. Lots of choices and plenty of dishes home made that day. This is like a Panera Bread style, you order, and then you come back to the front to pick up... More
