Good selection of food and affordable. I enjoy the atmosphere, and the employees are very nice. The food is a cultural experience and the amount could be shared by two.

I was so bummed out when I tried this location. I met a friend for lunch thinking it would be very good as I go to the one on Dobbin in Columbia quite often and it is awesome. This was not even close to the same experience. First we waited a good 45 minutes for our food, then it was...

ordered 3 combo plates (chicken, lamb and minced beef) and some extra bread. The meet was good, lean and nicely spiced. The kids enjoyed the freshly made bread. Limited menu and waited over 10 minutes for our food.
Not really a sit-down restaurant (you order your food at the counter, then they bring it out to you when it's ready), Maiwand Kabob is one of my favorite places to go for a healthy, tasty meal that I don't have to prepare, and that is very reasonably priced. Really great food and quality. Only complaint is the line to order and the wait for the food. But that comes with the success. Highly recommend.
Went here for lunch. Food was good. Made to order so there was a wait. There is no real service other than ordering and paying for your food when you enter. You get your own plastic utensils and napkins. Small place but again the food wasn't bad.
Went to Maiwand Kabob for lunch just to see if it stacks up to other kabob places I frequent. I had the mantwo appetizer and the Chicken tikki marsala kabob. Both items were pretty good, but a little heavy on the spices. The place was clean and busy during the lunch rush, but the service was great. I would recommend...

I eat here regularly since it's around the corner from work. I find the food is always hot and fresh and the service is always friendly. My favorite is the boneless chicken kabobs. One suggestion, call ahead. Since everything is made to order it takes time, but it is worth it.
Food is always great, but they've been out of samosas the last three times I've been there. It's also made to order so be prepared to wait a while if you don't call ahead.
I often get the vegetarian option, but never has it been as flavorful as at Maiwan~ I also got one of the appetizers that was quite good--the bolani--one with scallions and the other with potatoes...quite good!
