Solid food

Friendly service. The bakery items are scrumptious. Waitress was helpful in selecting the most economic choices for what we wanted to eat.

We stop here when traveling on Interstate 70. Like the BLT. Used to enjoy breakfast ( eggs, fries and toast) but now they do not open until 10 am during the week--disappointing. Hearty portions and reasonable prices. Nice selection of pies, cookies and breakfast rolls in their bakery.

Stopped on a whim. Baby was cranky and we needed to stretch. It was 1pm on a Sunday. Had to park down the street in an empty lot and walk to restaurant because we had a large truck and trailer. Had to wait about 15 mins for a table, and about 40 mins for our food. We ordered a kids... More

We used to stop at this restaurant on the way to Berkley Springs or when we were traveling north & west to other spots in nearby states. We were there on our way through & we did buy a berry pie which was terrific. The food was mediocre. We used to stop there with children or with a friend who... More

Quite old fashion in a good way. They specialize in baked goods, pies, cakes and cookies; although, I've been told by locals that their not made on premises. A little pricy. The salad bar was cleaner and fresher than some. Vegetable crab soup was decent, but not great.

We stopped here last Sunday for lunch. We have eaten here often in the past, but this latest visit was a disappointment. I always eat the roast beef sandwich, and my wife had the turkey breast dinner. The roast beef was dried out; the turkey was extremely tough, so much so that it was basically inedible. We'll give them another... More

This place got a four because it's so small-town-simple fare at a low price. You can depend on getting a good BLT or club sandwich, maybe a plate of roast beef and mashed potatoes, followed by a piece of home made pie. Don't expect gourmet - just basic Americana. We've stopped here en route along I-70 and I-68 coming and... More

What used to be a regular fixture for us on our trips west, the new owners have turned into a restaurant that drives patrons to go elsewhere. They say they are open everyday for breakfast, yet they don't open until 10 am. This is hardly reasonable if the expect to stay in business for very long.

We ate at Weaver's twice this past March - breakfast one day and lunch another day. I'd call it 'Traditional Americana Cuisine' -- with good eats and a guaranteed full belly, good prices, great service, and all with a view of the North Branch of the Potomac River flowing past the big windows in the main dining room. You might... More

This is our second stop at Weavers, Hancock being a convenient waypoint between family visits. Both times, the server was friendly and attentive, the food was fresh and tasty. (We favor soup-and-salad type entrees.) We bought pie to go for our next family stop. Yum! Definitely would recommend.
