Situated between exit 3 and 4 of I 70, this is a convenient lunch stop.We had a great vegetable crab soup and half sandwich for $5.99. The soup came in a small bowl and was excellent The sandwich was made with fresh bread and fresh, tasty filling. We also had the soup and salad special. It came with the same... More

My wife and I discovered Weaver's by chance a few years ago, and it's now a "must stop" on our yearly trip in November through PA and MD on our way back to WV and OH. It was on Sunday the week before Thanksgiving, so I had the turkey dinner and my wife had fish. Both meals were great with... More

Weaver's Restaurant and Bakery has been in business as long as I can remember ~ many moons! Hancock is a strange little town, but Weaver's is a bright spot in this otherwise miserable place. Weaver's are famous, far and wide, for their freshly baked pastries and particularly for their DELICIOUS and old time favorite: raisin-filled cookies ~ just like great... More

If you are biking on the C&O or the Western MD Rail Trail, you need to take a break here! The food is simple but adequate. The big draw here is the pie! You have to save room for some! The back of the restaurant faces the WMRT...just round the corner and go on in!

We called ahead and ordered lunches to take on the bike trail. They accommodated our needs. They did not have beverages to go. Service was good. Food was okay, but we'd been led to believe it'd be excellent. I did buy a small pumpkin loaf that was really good, and I saw many people leaving with fresh bread.

Three of us tried Weaver's out after a day of biking 40+ miles on the C&O Canal Towpath. Everything about the service we received was great. The food was just ok, not as good as I would have expected for the prices we paid.

Had a wonderful spinach salad and grilled Ham and Cheese sandwich (my sister and I like to order and split each in half to share. Both were very good. The best coconut pie and we got raspberry cookies to go for later. They did not last for too much later as they too were awesome. We took a break here... More

We have eaten here a few times and the food is good home cooking. We had one of the specials and were in and out in 30 minutes.
