If you're tired of settling for those chain restaurants with their pre-made food, this is the place to go. Everything is made there and it's really great tasting food. There was a bit of a wait to get our meals but that gave us time to visit and if you think about it, if they're cooking everything fresh it's going... More

Awesome food, awesome service, just awesome all around. Best fried chicken I've had and the sweet potatoes are to die for!

Since we could see the episode of Restaurant Impossible about the Georgia Boy Café in Hagerstown we wanted to go there to taste the food ourselves. It is so delicious, really soul food. I never in my life ate a more delicious fried chicken. We were there again and will be dine in again and again.

Even though we live in town it had been some time since we visited Georgia boy and since we had family from the south visiting we decided to check it out. We were not disappointed and our southern family members were impressed also. Everything is made to order so it takes a little longer than normal. There are even specials... More

I and my husband tried this restaurant for the first time two weeks ago. Inside the place looks completely renovated: the style is pretty modern whit cosy and warm details. The owner is very nice, ready to explain the dishes and their traditions. The food is great! I tried the Green fried tomatoes and the fried catfish: amazing! The tomatoes... More

OK - so I watched an episode of "Restaurant Impossible" and they overhauled this restaurant called Georgia Boy Cafe. It was in Hagerstown, MD and I was planning a business trip to that area, so I put it on my calendar to check it out. I am glad that I did. Theresa met us at the door, sat us at... More

My wife and I went to Georgia Boy's a couple days ago and the food was awesome! We ordered the Hot Crab Dip and it was great..the cheese on top could have been melted a little more but it had great taste. I got the three piece fried chicken meal with mac & cheese and greens. It was all good.... More

Although the dining room was empty on a Saturday at 1 pm, the service was exceptional and the food outstanding! The fried chicken was so tasty and moist! I usually like dark meat because of white meat always being so dry, but this was not at all! I cleaned my plate! 3 piece chicken meal and 2 sides for $11... More

A group of ten went to Georgia boys cafe on December 22nd to celebrate Christmas. Some of us had dined there before. I had seen the restaurant impossible episode which piqued my interest. The food and service was excellent. For appetizers we had alligator, crawfish, pork skins, crab dip and fried green tomatoes. All were great and served hot. The... More

I - along with obviously lots of other folks - had seen the Restaurant Impossible makeover of this place, and as I live in rural PA and very few restaurants on that show ever turn up anywhere near here, thought I'd check it out when next I was in Hagerstown. Arrived at 11:35 for lunch only to find they didn't... More
