Really Good Indian Cuisine and Fine, Friendly Service

I wish this restaurant was closer to where I live! They have both a nice buffet and good menue. The same chef has been there for quite a while and he prepares authentic Indian food as well as a bit of fusion cuisine. Servers are friendly and attentive. Meals are very reasonably priced. Great... read more

The new owner was actually the chef for four years before taking over the restaurant. Some improvements made to the already excellent flavors and more substance without price increases. Sitar is by far the best Indian restaurant I have had the pleasure of dining at. Not only do they have a great dinner menu but also an excellent lunch buffet.... More

Not really a whole lot to say...the staff seems a bit uninterested but was courteous yet slow on service. Not much of an Indian staff that I could see. The menu has a lot of options but the flavors were lacking in my opinion. The level of spice was a little high for my tolerance and we ordered mild/medium dishes.... More

Under new ownership. I miss the way the chicken tikka masala used to taste. It used to be more creamy and heavenly. Now it just tastes like tomato paste. It wasn't terrible but my tastebuds cried a little. The service was slow and you used to never have an empty cup of water. My water was empty for waaaay too... More

What this place sorely lacks are the strong Indian spices that make so many curry dishes worth the trip away from Western food. They didn't have them for the butter chicken curry + another variation that we tried. What we ended up with was overpriced bland sauce to soak the dry chicken in. The rice they use is the wrong... A very unexpected place. The food is great and so is the service. From the fragrant curries to the fiery vindaloos there's good and spicy stuff at very low prices to have with good icy beer and nice Naans. The daal is also first class; and the best Chicken Tikka Masala i ever had.Beautiful place with smiley staffs.I strongly recommend to... More

This place is my ultimate favorite. The food was, literally, to die for. The place is very nice and quiet, which is wonderful sometimes since a lot of restaurants and bars have overly loud music. The service was very friendly. Not super chatty but also very hospitable. AND it's not expensive at all. My husband and I had an appetizer,... More

I had been wanting to try indian food so on our monthly date night I decided this was going to be the place for dinner. We like it so much that our next date night was there too. The food is great and our waitress was always pleasant and nice. She remembered us from the first time we went. I... More

Tried this restaurant for the first time. Ordered the Tandoori chicken skewers and received what appeared to be four pieces of the smallest chicken I've ever seen. The onions were so hot it ruined the whole meal. The customer service was deplorable. Will NOT be going back.
