Met for a recent family dinner. Atmosphere was like a New York City bar - loved the tickertape! Our server was extremely professional and welcoming - friendly, polite, courteous - she was one of the best servers we have had anywhere. Nice beer and wine selection. Dinners were reasonable - most between $10 - $20. I had the homemade chicken... More

My last review of Bulls & Bears was 2 years ago. While the faces change, the atmosphere and food remains consistent. They have outdoor sidewalk seating which is nice in the evenings. I recently had the blackened chicken and shrimp dish over pasta with cajun sauce and it was super. Fresh dinner rolls and a garden salad with house dressing... More

The decor is very nice and quaint. Located in downtown. Was disappointed with the food. I got chicken topped with crab and an old bay sauce. The chicken was tough and there wasn't a lot of crab and sauce. Fish and chips was heavily breaded. I'm happy I went but not sure if I would go back again.

Bulls and Bears has an expansive dining room that blends into the bar. The beers are plentiful and the food good old fashion American faire. Great place to open up you lap top and finish off some work. It has convenient parking especially in rainy weather.

Very bland meal; the 4 of us went to downtown to eat tonight; salmon was very bland; pasta sauce on spaghetti had no taste; we ask to sit at a different table then the one assigned, and were told "no"; never offered dessert. Won't go back. This was a surprise; usually get good service and good food. What has changed?... More

We thought it would be fun to do a Paint Night event and decided, rather than doing one in our area, to make it a day trip and go somewhere we'd never been, We spent the day in Hagerstown and went to Bulls and Bears for dinner. The bar is upscale in appearance and the outdoor seating is nice too.... More

Enjoyed dinner here with a group of 12 people. The atmosphere is really nice. The root beer is really good! Had the crab dip. It is not lump crab, but rather flaked. It was good. For dinner, I had the caribbean jerk tilapia. The fish was good, but the jerk spice was very spicy. Hubby had the chicken Baltimore, and... More

On a recent trip to hagerstown we decided to try this local establishment. I had the chicken breat baltimore and my father had the crab crakes. My father was delighted at the fact that his crab cakes were all crab with little filler. My chicken was very moist and delicious also. Our waitress though really made the experience for us.... More

Nice downtown restaurant. Has a nice laid-back, but upscale feel to it. Food is always delicious! and the Maryland Theater is right across the street so makes for a nice pre-show dinner or even Sunday brunch!
