A Favorite on Kent Island

Ehen we are staying in the area or traveling past, we try to eat here. The interior is fairly large and the main dining room has model railriad tracks with a running train suspended from the ceiling. Fun for kids and adults. It doesn't have the best water view, but it is still enjoyable. Service... read more

Needed to have a meal near Kent Narrows before a nearby event. Reviews of several nearby places scared us so we chose this long time family owned standard and were not disappointed. The well organized menu begins with an entire page of specials. Lucky for us rock fish was featured six different ways and we had two delicious versions. With... More

Came here for a crab fix. Tried the Cream of Crab Soup and Crab Imperial. The soup had no lumps of crab, just "straw" meat. The Crab Imperial was both overcooked and overpriced. Service was pretty good, but slow to bring water.

We're very disappointed to hear you did not enjoy your cream of crab soup or crab imperial during your visit. Our cream of crab soup has been voted the best in the eastern shore and our crab imperial is certainly one of our most popular menu items. We apologize that your experience didn't meet your expectations and hope to have... More

We visited Maryland in April and were told by a local that this was a great place for seafood. Was he ever right! The food is superb! From appetizers to dessert, every bite was delicious. Our party of three had the au gratin crab for appetizers, stuffed flounder, lobster tail, and crab imperial. Everyone was delighted with their meal as... More

The place is great, clean and has a very friendly staff. The bar was crowded. The food was wonderful. I had cake and scallops and both were great. They make great drinks. Have been there several times and would definitely go back.

Visited with friends from Annapolis and had a terrific dinner. Excellent menu with service to match. For cocktails, the Grapefruit Crush was very refreshing and had the largest fruit garnish I've ever seen! The "Crab Match" dinner comes with crab cake and choice of second seafood dish - my husband and I both had the crab imperial - along with... More

I sat a the bar to eat and drink. The bartender was very social and also poured good drinks for me. She recommended one of the daily specials (Crab cake), which was excellent, I'm glad she mentioned it, I was impressed with experience. Prices are as expected for the area, so no surprises there. All-in-all, I recommend this place to... More

From the moment you enter the restaurant the feel is Eastern shore. We were greeted right away by the hostess who promptly sat us at a booth. There was a little wait for our server to arrive, but that gave time to admire the personality of the venue. I was mesmerized by the raised train travelling the tracks from room... More

We have dined at this restaurant dozen's of times over the years in our sojourns to/from our second home on the Chesapeake....recently this Friday especially for their Oyster stew....lightly dusted with an Old Bay mixture and full of oysters....yum! Daily specials included Salmon Wellington....which is excellent. One of our favorites is the flounder dinner. Nice slightly warm rolls immediately served... More
