We have never been to The Narrows but decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed. It will now become one of our favorite restaurants along with Bridges.

A consistently good restaurant with a spectacular water view. We had a young waitress this trip that seemed a little inexperienced but we were in no rush so her lack of attention & inability to answer a food question wasn't a big issue. The restaurant is well known for their cream of crab soup which has a wonderful flavor....I just... More

We like their soup so much we regularly buy a quart and make four lunches from it. It's really, really thick, rich and loaded with backfin crab. Delicious.

Great, alternative route from Philly to DC: 20 mins more than I-95 but so much more pleasant, with beautiful nature and nice surroundings. The Narrows is greatly located, just on the sea-side, with outstanding view on the bay and small yacht port just nearby. The food is just OK (except delicious chowder), with disappointing sliders, lobster roll with more carrots... More

We have been stopping by this fine restaurant for many years. Food is always good. The menu and specials give you plenty of options to choose from. Staff is friendy and very capable.

The Narrows seems to have gone to a winter menu-less luscious selections. Annie's remains all out - all the food is luscious and the servers are courteous, friendly and helpful. Annie's is my pick, especially during the holidays.

Our lunch at The Narrows was very good, and the portions were generous. We had a late lunch so we shared a shrimp salad plate, and the server brought it to us already shared onto two plates. That was thoughtful. Good bread accompanied it, and we had chocolate bread pudding (again one serving, shared) for dessert. We enjoyed it all... More

Get the crab soup- ask for the sherry and put a dollop of sherry into the soup!. Several of our party got the swordfish which was excellent and one got a strip steak- cooked perfectly. Good service and good views. I had the wedge salad which was very good with gorgonzola. Decent wine list.

Went for dinner based on trip advisor rating. We were seated in the scenic section with a beautiful view, which I'm sure is a coveted spot during the summer season. I had the broiled crab cake roasted beet salad special and French onion soup. Everything was delicious but the crab cake really stood out. It's quite possibly the best crab... More

I had heard about the crab cakes at the Narrows for many years so when we found ourselves in the vicinity, we decided to have dinner there. I ordered a single crab cake with the steamed julienned vegetables. While there was little filler in the crab cake, there was also little flavor. As for my vegetables, they were not julienned...
