Obviously when I head into Maryland, anywhere near the Chesapeake, I want to find some Crab. After playing in a golf tournament near by I came here with our group in search of some great Maryland Crab. Standard crab house decor with the paper, buckets and towels on the table. No problems with that, but the crab underwhelmed and the... More

Recommended by family in who live in the area, glad we listened. Great food, family friendly environment. (can't beat sitting down and cracking into crabs on a brown paper covered table). Service was good and waitress was very friendly.

We actually took a return trip to Maryland to try and find this restaurant that we ate at a few years ago. It was just as great as we remembered, and this time we were able to share it with our kids! It was such a fun and relaxing atmosphere- loved the table overlooking the water! The crabcakes are THE... More

Sadly the best thing was the potato salad. Have had decent food in the past, but was disappointed. Soft shell crab sandwich was soggy. Service was good, but felt like the quality had slipped. But you still cannot beat their all you can eat crabs.

I've enjoyed eating crabs at Harris' in the past, and they do a nice job of serving up hardshells with all the trimmings - and the airy dining room is a neat place to smash crustaceans and quaff beer. There's an outside deck that overlooks the Kent Narrows that's lovely on a summer evening. My partner and I stopped in... More

We have stopped several times at Harris Crab House on trips between NC and NJ. The past few times we have noticed a real drop in service. I read a review from 2008 and not much has changed. The greeter acted like we were an annoyance and the waiters were all clustered around one table near the bar and no... More

We went during the off season and thought they wouldn't have crabs; but they looked delicious and the other customers seemed to really enjoy them. We've had crabs there before and thought we'd try something different. Soup was rich and thick but tasty. The fried shrimp was cooked just right and our crab cake sandwiches were full of lump crab... Harris' has been 'the place' to go for crabs and seafood if you don't want to drive all the way to St. Michael's Crab Claw Restaurant. Harris' carried on their long-standing tradition of the long tables for eating those delicious Maryland hard crabs. Great place to stop plus it's right next door to the well-known Redeye's Dock Bar - which... More

My son wanted to go to Harris Crab House for his 13th birthday dinner. This wouldn't be so bad except we live in West Virginia. After a long drive to get there, I was grateful that the drive was worth it. I noticed from all the other reviews people say get the crabs. Well, their crabs are good but they... More
