My husband and I were looking for a place to eat lunch while passing through the area and were limited for choice since we had our puppy with us. We called ahead to Harris and while the outdoor seating was closed for the season, they said we could sit out there and they would serve us from the take-out menu.... More

Yes, you can get crabs around the world, but you cannot get Maryland Blue Channel Crabs anywhere but out of the Chesapeake Bay. Come to Kent Island (Queen Anne's county right where the Chesapeake Bay Bridge comes onto The Eastern Shore) and get fresh steamed crabs from Harris's. This is a very unique place that offers both informal crab house... More

This is a Chesapeake Style Eatery. Large service area, clean, and traditional table settings of butcher paper for cracking those Bay Crabs. Great daily happy hour with beers, drinks and freshly shucked Oysters on the Half Shell at bargain prices. There is a large menu of items served in delicious plated presentations. The service is fast and courteous. It is... More

My husband and I were flying out for an early morning trip on New Years Day so we wanted a casual dinner. We didn't have reservations so finding a good dinner at 8pm on New Years Eve was a challenge. As always, we defaulted to Harris' Crab House and weren't disappointed. The best thing about Harris' is that the food... More

I ordered the Mini-Bucket. All the items I received were tepid or room temperature. Everything tasted good even though it wasn't hot. Family members loved their fried scallops, fresh oysters, fried rockfish, stuffed rockfish, and snow crab. We shared a slice of Smith Island Cake and it was delicious - be sure to try some. It must be made on... More

Took friends here tonight on way home from Annapolis. We have always loved Harris Crab House in warmer weather, but found ourselves in the vicinity today. While they did have the familiar blue claws no one was in the moo for picking. Provided opportunity to try a few new things. Soft shells were a surprise in December but they were... More

I can't compare the crab and seafood here to others in the area, because I didn't get a chance to try every place, but I did get a chance to look at every menu, and let me tell you, this was worth it! The happy hour specials ARE AMAZING FOR SEAFOOD AND DRINKS. I had the crab soup (delicious), and... More

My husband and I had dinner at Harris and were very disappointed. I had a crab cake with hush puppies as a side order. The worst hush puppies on the planet....hard as rocks, over fried, no taste. The crab cake was very disappointing as compared to the crab cake we had at lunch at the Fisherman's Inn (within walking distance... More

Went to Harris for happy hour and to try AUCE oyster buffet. Crab dip was OK, shredded crab no lump crab meat but tasty for $11.50 ($3 off). Baked oyster sampler, 12 oyster made in 3 different ways. Excellent and again $3 off for $12. Clams casino--clams were very tiny, not worth the $7 price. 1 pound Garlic mussels $4.50--definitely... More
