We went along to Harris Crab House not really knowing what to expect. Right from entering the front door we were made welcome seated in the upstairs dining area straight away. Don't expect fine dining because the tables are covered with brown paper and you get a wooden mallet to crack the crab shells with. Our server Tiffany was really... More

You can go to other places in the Annapolis area, but for good steamed crabs and other crab house delicacies, this place is terrific. The down side is that it's not really on the water, but it has all the atmosphere of a crab house and the non crab dishes are also good. Worth the trip from Annapolis

I have lived in MD for almost 40 years and have been to almost all the crab houses. This one is at the top of the list. If Ur not from Annapolis its only a 20 minute drive across the eastern shore but it's worth it. Parking is easy and free and there usually is no wait. It is directly... More

We called for lunch on our way to St Michaels. We have been several times before and have never been disappointed. You need to get here early as it soon fills up. We had a table outside and upstairs so we had a tremendous view of the boats and water activity. If you come here you really should have their... More

An informal crab house on the water with paper plates and brown paper as a table cloth. The food is average but I still enjoyed my visit. We saw the sunset over the water and enjoyed a platter of broiled seafood. If you are headed back to DC and facing heavy traffic before the bridge, you can pull over here... More

This is the kind with brown paper on the table. The decor is nothing to wrote home about, but the views of Kent Narrows are nice. Some of the fish specialties, including the soups (particularly cream of crab) are really quite good. The service is friendly. Whenever we are in the area, my wife urges that we stop here.

Decided to stop here last week on the way back to Arlington from Queenstown Mall for a late lunch. The crab cake sandwich was excellent, more crab meat than breading which is what it ought to be. We sat outside with a nice view of the water. The host was welcoming and the waitresses attentive. All in all a good... More

I (used to) love to stop at Harris's anytime I crossed the Bay Bridge, no matter the time of year. Good views can be had; good, fresh food is usually the norm. I usually eat here about 4 times a year. I was returning home from Chincoteague; I stopped for a late lunch on a Tuesday after getting stuck for... More

Just stopped in for lunch today. Made an hour detour just to get there. In fact stop here whenever we are near Annapolis. Crabs are excellent with a great crab spice. She Crab soup is our favorite anywhere. Fun place, butcher paper, plastic trays, wooden mallets. They also make their own Nutty Buddie ice cream cones. Forget the good humor... More

The crabs are great, the setting is casual enough for flip flops and the staff is attentive. The breeze off the water was perfect with sailboats going by. If you're looking for crabs around Kent Island and a place to relax - this is a perfect option. As far as price- I only selected two dollar signs but that's ONLY... More
