Tried Pappas when my family came in from out of state. We were seated quickly, and the staff were all very nice and helped out when my toddler became impatient. The food was good and decent priced for sea food. We paid about $100 for 5 adults and a toddler. As a Texan, the crabcakes were great, but I'm not... More

Always enjoy getting crab cakes when home in Baltimore, this was my first visit to Pappas, we arrived tired and hungry, checked into our hotel and found them close. We were very pleased with our crab cakes and service was great on a very busy Friday evening. We even rerurned on a Sunday instead of our usual haunt. Highly recommend... More

My family and I went here to celebrate my son's birthday. This was the first time I had eaten here so I was very optimistic that it would be great. When you first enter the restaurant, the atmosphere is very friendly and inviting. It's downhill from there. I had a Reuben that had to be eaten with a fork as... More

We went for late lunch on a Saturday and there were many tables occupied. Had the crab cake and it definitely met our expectations as excellent- a viable contender for Baltimore's Crab Cake of the Year. Sampled both the vegetable crab and the cream of crab soups. The veg is spicy in the Old Bay tradition. The cream is just... More

We checked the reviews here on TripAdvisor & it appeared to be somewhat balanced. One recent review, titled "Horrible" gave us a bit of caution, but we decided that since the opinion did not seem to be the general opinion, perhaps it was an off night and we'd give a try. We sat in the bar. The 1st bartender took... More

Read about Pappas in an online article in the Baltimore Magazine about the best crab cakes in the Baltimore area. Pappas was mentioned along with some othe distinguished restaurants. I decided to try it since my hotel was not far from its location. I didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. I sat in the bar area and... More

As part of my continuing quest for a really good crabcake, my wife and I stopped at Pappas' Restaurant in Glen Burnie. We had heard the crabcake was very good - and it was. Yes, it really was - and it was on "special." We each ordered a crabbcake sandwich and my wife also ordered the cream of crab soup,... More

We had never been here and decided to give it a try. Called and seats were readily available. We sat in an area with about 6 booths around us. We ordered drinks and they were very slow in coming. Once drinks got there we ordered our meals. While waiting for our meals, the table across from us asked to see... More

I probably go there 2 to 4 times a month . It's nice to sit in the bar. Good happy hour prices and food is very good. Thier crab cake is my wifes favorite since "Gunnings Too" closed. Service is usually very good unless they are swamped. We definitly recommend the Newyork Cristoffer, and/or the Salmon Angel, both are excellent.... More

We ate here again the night before my surgery. All of us had pasta dishes. The food was very good as was the service. If you are staying at the local La Quinta, they offer a 10% discount when you show your key. It is convenient to the hotel too.
