I wish I could afford sushi more often. I always end up at least $50 for 2 adults, so it doesn't happen often! Clean, courteous and delicious. Best in town.

When we lived in the area this was our go to place for Chinese food. Very good service, good food. Returned to the area for a visit after a two year absence and, craving Chinese food, headed here. Did the owners change? New chef/cook? Food was bland, almost tasteless and was just blah,. The Szechuan chicken was so mild our... More

Just a normal take out dinner until we got home and found the wrong entree. Too far to drive back but I called expecting some apology, compensation... Instead after a 5 minute discussion (not in English) I was told we had ordered what they provided although three of us were quite clear on what had been ordered. Not even an... More

Excellent food both takeout and dine in. Most entrees can be prepared with more or less spice according to your taste. Sweet and Sour chicken is a hit with kids with us. Twice cooked pork is excellent as is General Tsos chicken. Hot and Sour soup is good. Egg drop is not. Egg rolls are OK nothing special.

My husband and I decided to try a new place for sushi - we have our favorite at Yoshiya in Goshen Plaza a few miles away. The service at Old Shanghai felt very rushed- and the restaurant was only 1/4 full. The miso soup was ok, not much depth of flavor. My husband had the sushi/sashimi combo platter..he was not... More

We have been there several times. During the lunch time, they have the option of buying from the buffet with reasonable price (~$7 for three dish combo). During the night, they serve a variety of Chinese and Japanese food. The waiters and the owners are very warm-hearted. The decoration is also good for most of the occasions. It is a... More

Good service; the people there are always helpful. Yummy Chinese food. I go back every time I'm in the area and I am never unsatisfied. Dine-in or carry out.

We have eaten at Old Shangai since it opened in the late 90's. It used to be quite good. However, we have not been in there for take out in a year or so. My wife wanted a tofu dish for dinner which I ordered and picked up. I ordered To-Fu Home Style, which the menu said was " lightly... More

I have been going to Old Shanghi for many years and have never been disappointed. They have the best hot and sour soup in the area which is my go to recipe for a cold ,rainy day or the beginnings of a cold or sore throat. A few years ago I tried the mango chicken with ginger sauce. The sauce... More
