Outstanding Thai experience in the USA

We tried 5 different plates, Thai beef salad, papaya salad, tom kha gai (coconut based chili pepper chicken soup), green curry and ground pork with basil. We asked for hot and we got Farang hot, which was good. We drank Thai tea and unsweetened tea, both were good as well. The atmosphere is... read more

We were so excited to come here after reading all the great reviews. Maybe a good way to really test a restaurant is to come at the end of the lunch period, just before they shut down for an afternoon break. We didn't do it on purpose. But clearly the quality of the service and food did not live up... More

Very good Thai food and bargain prices too - what's not to like? This place has been a family favorite for years and is consistently satisfying. A plus is that it's not loud, so you can have a conversation without straining over background noise/music.

I have never been disappointed with the food but I do like Thai, Vietnamese, Indian restaurants in general. The venue is small, and due to my age a little darker than I like. The staff is very welcoming and efficient. The area has that "faux urban" feel though in suburbia. The prices are decent for the amount and quality, but... More

Tom Kha soup is the best I ever had in any Thai Restaurant. Chicken satay and spring rolls are good. I like Panang curry with vegetables or Chicken if you eat meat. Ginger stir fry is good with vegetables and tofu. Drunken noodles are yummy. Pad Thai is ok.

This is my favorite thai restaurant, and there is a lot of competition in suburban Maryland. Every dish is wonderful. For lunch, order the kra pow. For dinner, I like to select several small plates and appetizers for variety. Kanom Jeeb is wonderful. Chicken satay is perfect. They do not skimp on spice here. Other places you order spicy and... By far the best Thai in the MD burbs. I have to say that Germantown is a ride for us but we do make the trip every now and then. It is completely worth it. Try things that are a bit different than the Pad Thai standards (even though it is very good there). The dining room is very attractive... More

We recently discovered this little Thai restaurant and it is quickly becoming a favorite for us. I'm not sure how long it's been there (awhile I think) but we just recently read a favorable review in a restaurant guide in a local paper and decided to try it out. We just had our 3rd visit this week in 3 months... More

Nice menu, unusual but good. Good service, nice atmosphere, right in downtown Germantown walking town area.

Good Thai food. My favorite is their drunken noodles.I an giving one star less mainly because I did not like their Calamari appetizer.
