Exactly As We Remembered

My wife and I were recently visiting the area, and decided to go to Woodside Deli for lunch on a Saturday. We hadn't been there in about ten years, since we had moved out of state, but since we enjoyed it back then, we were hoping to find it the same as it had been, and thankfully, it was. We... read more

This is the best place for a delicious bowl of Matzoh Ball soup. Also, good desserts in the case. Very nice waitstaff.

The Woodside has been in operation in one form or another for over 20 years. It has one of the most extensive menus in town mimicking the deli's of New York! The food is tasty and the atmosphere interesting. It is the place to go on Friday night or for that Sunday morning breakfast that will stay with you the... More

When we don't want to travel to eat breakfast we go here. The food is nothing special. They do have a wide selection of predictable items on the menu. Is it close? Yes, Is it inexpensive? Yes. Other than that it does not have much going for it. If you like Bob Evans, Denny's and/or IHOP, you will like it... More

Fast friendly curtious service. Coffee never went empty, nor did the water. The food (we had breakfast ) was about average, but the sandwiches that were being served around us looked wonderful. We'll be back and we're happy to have found it.

I am from the suburbs of NYC. Every corner there was a diner or deli. Here in Maryland they are harder to find. The Woodside Deli has everything you want in a Deli and more! I had a glass of wine and Large Roast Beef Club Sandwich. I have gone there several times and every time is perfect!

This deli is just as good as it sister restaurant, the Silver Spring Woodside Deli. The restaurant is located in a strip mall and it doesn't have much in the way of ambiance - just a lot of very old pictures from magazines and the like on the walls. The service is friendly and efficient. The food is pretty good.... More

On a busy Sunday morning, we waited 25 minutes for our food and when it finally arrived it was terrible-- oily whitefish salad tasting mostly of mayonnaise, mediocre eggs Benedict, tasteless lox. Waiters hustled while the manager and others stood around. No apologies, no explanation just a $70 bill. The place doesn't deserve the crowd and the crowd doesn't need... More

I hadn't been there in awhile and decided to go with a change of pace from my usual Sat morning visit to House of Pancakes. What a disappointment. The food was fine, but was overpriced and the service was terrible. My food was plopped down on my table, I had to ask for refills of coffee and I was never... More
