Very nice pizza

The pizza at Coal Fire is one of favorites in the area. It does not rank up with a 2 Amys in D.C. or other authentic Neapolitan pizzas, but it falls just a level below. The rest of the food is mediocre to good. But, aren't we going there for the pizza? Another plus is the nice and courteous... read more

Went here for lunch with my daughter one day. We both ordered the beef brisket sandwich which was listed on their menu as a favorite. The sandwich was very bland - it supposable had horseradish sauce but, we could not taste it all. In fact, my daughter put ketchup to make it less bland. The meat was tender but, it... More

We lived in Crofton 8 years and this has to be our go to family dining spot. Great, consistent food and service at a very, very economic price point. A family of four with lots of food and drink can eat for about $35. We live a half hour away now and still find ourselves making the trip for the... More

My wife and I go here for happy hour fairly regularly (prob every other week). The drink and pizza specials in the bar are great. Try the Ring of Fire pizza it is one of my favorites! Ashley the bartender rocks! She makes her own infused liquors that change every week. She would be reason enough to go back but... More

Let me start by saying that I go here all the time. I am allergic to dairy and get Red Pizzas (Pizza with no cheese) or pasta dishes with their Signature sauce (My personal favorite). Their Pizza is the best in the area and I've like everything I've eaten here. I also go here for happy hour a few times... More

Cute, modern, very clean place with comfy seating. Would have liked one of the tables outside but it was raining the day we were there. We were greeted with a warm friendly smile and promptly seated. Place opens at 11:30 for lunch and they were unlocking the door as we arrived. Coworker and I split a salad and pizza. Food... More

We went hoping for a good coal fired pizza and didn't find it The crust was only OK, and I thought the sauce was wayyyyy too sweet. I think the menu makes it kind of difficult to order, and I thought it was overpriced. There's better pizza in the area. Go to Squisito.

A wonderful surprise ... Loved the food; from salads to sandwiches, to Pizza, to the surprising twist to the chicken wings (were great and have never eaten ones like these before)! For any food lover, a must try and the staff members will treat you like a royalty!

We had heard a lot about Coal Fire, and decided to give it a try armed with a discount coupon. We won't be return customers. We went there for dinner one evening, and found the service friendly and prompt. They have a good selection of bottled beers (no drafts other than the usual Bud and Miller). We decided to go...
