The Crispy Duck at the Thai House Restaurant is one of the few restaurant items in the Gaithersburg area that I think is fantastic. For a duck and fried food lover, it's an amazing dish: deep fried duck with a choice of two very tasty dipping sauces (spicy garlic or black bean/mushroom/ginger). While the other food I've had at Thai... More

I hadn't had Thai food in 8.5 months since moving overseas, and the Thai House Restaurant (walking distance from where I'm staying in the States) satisfied my craving! I stuck with the classic dish of Pad Thai, and got level 2 spiciness (out of 4) and was disappointed that it didn't have a spicy kick like medium usually does. The... More

WARNING! I think someone skimmed/stole my credit card information at this restaurant! Within 30 minutes of paying my bill, my account was frozen because of suspected fraud charges attempted for payment at an Asian phone company. Coincidence? I don't think so. It was the only time my credit card had been out of my possession in months. If u go,... More

We had nothing to cook at home and I was hungry. So I told my Mom and sister-in-law that we will just eat out. I was thinking of Mexican food and we were on our way to Ay Jalisco. When we were almost there, my sister-in-law pointed to the Thai House and said that is where my niece and family... More

My wife, daughter (both are Thai) and I ate here last night. Outstanding. There's so much mis-information or debate on Thai restaurants as to whether they are "authentic" or not. Well, trust me, this one is 100% authentic. We ordered two appetizers and two entrees - sauces were THAI SPICY, not wimpy at all. And boy were they delicious and... More

I often have difficulty finding Thai food hot enough in this area. This restaurant has 4 levels of heat and 3 is perfect for me. $ would be to hot and 2 is good for my wife. The menu is long and varied. It will take several trips to explore the things I want to try. Although the strip maul... More

We have been to many different Thai restaurants in the area, but this one stood out. The flavors seemed more fresh and vibrant compared to other restaurants. We had it again just last night, and we were pleased to get the same results. This restaurant may be one a go-to for Thai.

I originally found this little restaurant while looking for suggestions on a gluten free website regarding asian/ thai food. The reviews on this restaurant peaked my interest. They do not claim to be gluten free due to MD laws regarding this, but I was able to eat here without issue. The strip mall shopping center this restaurant is in is... More

We had several appetizers and main courses. The crispy duck was very tastey. The Pad Thai was average at best. We had a very friendly waitress and the manager announced to us he was new. So maybe some changes are coming.

Don't let the suburban strip mall location fool you. This place is money, and is probably the best Thai food in the DC area. The pad kee mow (#41) And the Penang curry are both phenomenal. The people are very friendly, and we have never had a bad dish from there. Truly stands out in a town full of average... More
