Dining out is a balance of quality of food and quality of the experience. Sadly, both were lacking at Dogfish. The food was blah, not bad but not great. The worst part was the waiter, who decided that he couldn't be bothered with out table. My salad plate sat on the table the entire meal. It was still there after... More

What more can you ask for in an alehouse? Great Beer! Tonight I was fortunate enough to have the Alehouse 75 the the Crab Cake Entree. Service was good (thanks Laura H). Beer was cold and quite good. Make sure you ask for water. The crab cakes were very good. Moist and tender. Great seasoning. Grilled asparagus was crisp and... More

the Dogfish brewery is one of the best around. The beer selection is always good and I look forward to the special each time I visit. The food is good but I don't find a lot of things on the menu that I am crazy about. My wife likes lot of stuff. Maybe I am too picky, and the things... More

Who cares what the food is like (and it's decent). The beer at Dogfish is very very good. I have been a brewer for 20 years and have a pretty good appreciation for quality suds. I'm sorry to say that I'm from Frederick but Dogfish makes the best ales in the area - maybe in the expanded area. Try the... More

My mom and I tried this location while in the area. We had a great experience from the time we walked in the door, everyone was really friendly and helpful. We liked it so much we came back two nights later and had the same great experience. I was worried it was a one time thing, but between the great... More

Shepherd's Pie and Santa Fe Salad were good. Salad was huge. Desserts were fantastic! Best part was the beer and the outstanding service. Even though they were busy our server was appropriately attentive and our food came out in a timely manner. We would definitely consider going back.

Always a long wait and very noisy, but servers are pleasant and helpful. The burgers are wonderful, also the onion rings are good. Beer is ok too.

Got to check out this place on a Thursday evengin and even though it seemed packed, there was a minimal wait to get a table for 8. They had a pretty extensive selection of beers (but no Sleeman! :) and even some with a kick. If you order the high alcohol variety, they bring it to you in a snifter...... More

This casual dining place has very good sandwiches and salads. The fries and onion rings are excellent. Grouper sandwich is outstanding -- good texture, grilled or fried, on tasty bread. Creamy mac'ncheese has bacon and other goodies. I tried the reuben once, and the meat was too tough. Other than the reuben, every sandwich that I've ordered in many visits... More
