Average food, over hyped beer

There are a number of hand crafted beers on offer but many of them are just a blend of 2 others. The Nastame was refreshing, not unlike a Hoegarden. If someone had told me that the 'American Beer of the Year' was Newcastle Brown Ale I'd have believed them. We were upstairs which was very noisy.

We stumbled upon this establishment while looking for our hotel. We weren't ready to call it a night so were looking for a place just like this one. We didn't eat since we had recently finished a large dinner, but we stopped in for the live music and wonderful beer selection. The atmosphere was pretty cool too!

We have gone here almost every Monday for about three year plus a few special events. Their food and beer are consistently excellent. My favorite is the Alehouse 75 beer and their Burgers.

OK, I realize it's kinda missing the point to complain about the healthiness of food at a brewpub, but with such a large food menu, it would be nice to see a few healthier choices with more vegetables. Now let's talk about the beer... I'm probably going to alienate myself to a great many reviewers here, but I have a... More

The menu has a variety of selections - I've had great salads, sandwiches, and full meals. Appetizers are great, too - veggies, pita, and hummus, crab dip, spinach and artichoke dip, sliders, etc. - all good. The regular beers are good - my favorite is the Indian Brown - but it's always fun to try the seasonals, too. Even when... More

Beer is, of course, plentiful and delicious. The food is consistently good. Bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly , especially Tim and Kiesha.

Dogfish Head Alehouse is one of those places we save for when we're really hungry. The menu is eclectic, including burgers, salads, and some pub favorites. Decent kids menu. Of course, you can't go wrong with the beer. This is not a place for an intimate conversation. Be warned: it's quite noisy and can get very busy, even during the... More

Excellent food and beer selection. Nice atmosphere. Patios all around. Quick friendly service. Pretty suburban setting. Trees and grass all around. I'm hungry.

Went to this restaurant on a recent business trip in Gaithersburg, MD on a weekday night, and was hoping for a good experience, but unfortunately, this restaurant really let me down! Place was clean, and had a reasonably inviting atmosphere, as I looked around and sat down at a table near the bar. Waitress was prompt and friendly. I looked... More
