The Alehouse is more than your typical neighborhood pub. The menu has some unique items and the burgers are as good as you'll find anywhere. Add to that an extensive variety of beers (and wine, of course) and a lively pub ambiance, and you have a great place hang out with friends.

I've sampled their craft beers many times in the past but they seem to taste better in THEIR house. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of their food. We sampled the fish and chips (excellent pieces of deep-fried cod), crab and artichoke dip, and chili, no disappointments and the service was super.

The Palo Santo Marron beer and the Mushroom Gorgonzola burger are absolutely one of the finest food/ beer combos on the planet! sort of like a great steak and a fine red wine! My wife and I are regulars at DogFish and enjoy a wide spectrum of meals - never had a bad meal, and prices are very reasonable. Some... More

This is not your typical bar food type of place. The menu has some great offerings and the quality of the food is excellent. Ahi Tuna sandwich, Salmon, humus, best burgers around, etc.. The beer is some of the best ever made. The Dogfish 60,90 are amazing.

Plain or spicy the food is very good. One of our party had spicy Jumbelia, which was extremely spicy, but delicious. The hamburger with a large portobello mushroom and Grier cheese was very large and excellent. The fisherman's platter was also very ample and tasty. The draft beer was very good. We ate outdoors, as the restaurant was very noisy.... More

I love dogfish. Beers are a little expensive but they are deeeeeelicious. My suggestions are the bratwurst platter or the avocado turkey club, Mac and cheese is pretty awesome sauce as well. Upstairs is not handicap accessible and not great if you have a big kid you have to lug around either. Ask to sit on the first floor

The Dogfish Head Alehouse is certainly not your typical alehouse. While they do have some of the more typical ales you may have come to expect such as IPAs they also have a great tradition of producing some less common brews. Some are based on historical context (Midas Touch) while others use a regional ingredient in the aging process (Palo... More

Excellent place. Always packed, so don't be surprised if you have to wait 20mins or more especially before happy hour and weekends. A wide selection of beers will please everyone. Bar with sports and two outside sitting areas. Try the beer sampler at your first visit.

We were a table of 7 who had to shout to each other to be heard. Service was good. Our waitress brought out the children's food immediately. Our food was delicious and the beer drinkers were very happy.
