Good food, Good Service....Great for kids

Stopped in with family on our way through the area from Western NY. Met more family and had a large table with 6 kids and 4 adults. Service was great and they had no problem handling a table of that size. Atmosphere great for kids with a lot of background noise. Food was good, authentic Mexican... read more

Group of eight for dinner. Had to wait for a table but well worth the wait. Large menu and super waitstaff. My first time there. Wonderful salsa and tortilla chips that tasted homemade. Fish tacos, fajitas, soft tacos so delicious.

This is a family favorite, because the service is always pleasant and efficient, the chips and salsa tasty and the food plentiful. The prices have continued to creep up, with entrees becoming more on the 'expensive' side vs. middle of the road. The guac is good and the fajitas are always tasty, both the chicken and the steak. The camarones... More

This place is good, in the Rio area just off exit 9/I270. This is my 2nd fav place for HH there. Guapos I like a little better but this place is very good. Full menu, decent size bar area separate from seating area. It gets crowded quick because the bar becomes the waiting area with kids and families waiting. This... More

I've been a customer of Uncle Julio's for years. The food is excellent, delicious, and plentiful, nice presentation. They serve gucamole with many dishes and it is so fresh and tasty. The chips n salsa while you wait are yummy. The staff are courteous, and attentive. The bar is big with round tables in the middle. It gets crazy busy there... More

Uncle Julios is always a great place to go. A little pricey but you don't just pay for the food. You pay for the atmosphere, the great wait staff and constant attention. We like to come here for the Fajitas and Calamari. Drinks are over priced but is what is to be expected these days. I will come back of... More

The waitress greeted us and immediately brought chips and salsa top the table. She tips drink orders and the food came out swiftly. We were all pleased with our food and will continue to patronize this spot.

I don't know how many people this place seats, but the place is huge. In spite of that, the service is good, the margarita was excellent, and the food was fantastic. There was a server who did nothing except make guacamole table side, and another making fresh tortillas. I had the pulled chicken quesadilla and my husband had the steak... More

Uncle Julio's/Rio Grande Café has absolutely the BEST fresh salsa ever! They roast their vegetables before chopping them up and putting them in their salsa. The smokiness of the roasted vegetables just adds so much flavor to the salsa. The chips are always warm and plentiful. We also enjoy their queso. Normally we get the fajitas and Juanita's platter (both... More

Went here with friends to enjoy a decent Tex-Mex meal. The place was crowded and the staff was really working their rears off to keep everything moving - and succeeding. We put in our request for our party and were about to be seated when we encountered two more frieds whom we invited to join us The staff could not... More
