There aren't very many restaurant selections in Frostburg so we chose Sand Springs the first night. The steak was really very good, as was everything we ordered. We ended up here the second night and still really enjoyed it. It's not right in the center of town but nothing is really very far away, as it's a small town. This... More

Group traveling on a photography trip....stopped in when we saw the fairly crowded parking lot. They were pretty full but we were seated right away when we agreed to eat out on the porch. A little warm but still comfortable. Really good steaks - cooked a bit more than ordered (medium rare) however the steak was very juicy, full of... More

Our party had 8 people, and this was a celebration for my bridal party. Well our reservation was for 7:30, we were finally seated at 8:30. The tables were still being cleaned as we were seated and it was unbearably hot in the upstairs room. We didn't want this to ruin our night, so we all smiled and dealt. Then... More

Menu said they make their own crab cakes, and after all we are in Maryland (even though no where near the shore) so I sprung for the crab cake sandwich but on texas toast instead of bun. Melt in your mouth delicious. They also custom made DH shaved prime rib sandwich with sauteed onions and horseradish sauce on texas toast.... More

The server was pleasant. Thats it for good about it. They are very busy but I think its because they serve alcohol. The food was mediocre tasting and looking like it was right out of Sams club freezer. The portions were good actually falling off the plate ( onto the dirty table) of course no placemat to catch it. Won't... More

There was a 20 minute wait before we were seated in the bar so we looked at menus ahead of time so we would know exactly what we wanted. Our server was in no hurry to turn the table because we waited for everything- to order, to have our drinks refilled, to ask for another beer... I think we may... More

First time in Frostburg and this restaurant came as a recommendation. We were very happy! Very affordable and the food was delicious! Recommendation- fries on the appetizer portion of the menu. It was 1lb of the best fries!

A nice spot in a small town. Steaks are really good, with good side dishes. Salads are also good. Service was good. Parking options not the greatest. Plenty of street parking available with small walk. I am here on business frequently and will be back.

This place has some great, delicious, and generally inexpensive comfort food on offer. The atmosphere is a bit heavy on the cowboy theme, but don't let that deter you if that's not your thing. Portion sizes are huge and it's a great place to get a good rack of ribs! Great for the whole family!

They have really fixed this place up. A few years ago it was going downhill quick. They have remodeled and improved their food and service. They offer a bar and restaurant now, whereas before it was a bar that had a restaurant. Their wings are awesome!
