My wife and I celebrated our anniversary with a dinner here. We live about an hour and a half away, and wouldn't have known about this place were it not for Trip Advisor. Ten members of our family had dinner at the lodge last evening, we were celebrating two very special birthdays- there were 7adults and 3 children. We arrived at 6:30, and were seated at the time of our reservation. We placed our order and had to ask for bread...it took 20 minutes to arrive. 30 minutes later our salads were not... More

Beautiful and delicious food, served in a splendid atmosphere with pleasant, competent servers. The appetizer featuring local cheeses was awesome. The main courses were scrumptious works of art and tasted great! The desserts were equally impressive and excellent...all for about $100, drinks not included...impressive wine list!

My girls book club met here for dinner. The prices have always been a little high but as a foodie I don't mind paying for a great meal which I have had here in the past. The chef I loved recently moved on so I was curious to see how the food is now. We had difficulty getting our cocktails... More

If you are in the area, this is a must! If you like out of the way places and something different, I would highly recommend this. Very delicious food, great atmosphere, and lovely setting! I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the winter!

Rustic, charming upscale lodge setting. Excellent use of locally grown.seasonal, farm to table food.My Hubby & I went there for a romantic, late supper. Would have been perfect except for the large group of young men that were seated next to us. Service was excellent. My food was a little too spicy for my delicate stomach but Hubby loved his... The restaurant is really quite spectacular, and is truly a "Lodge". Has that back in the woods hunting lodge feel. The menu is nicely varied, and farm to table seems to be a priority. The Lodge meatloaf is an unexpected surprise, and calling it meat loaf doesn't do this terrine of wild game justice. While my duck was perfectly cooked,... More

The food here is amazing! The meatloaf is some of the best we have had, and the wine list is extensive and excellent. If you like crab dip, It is so good we ordered it two nights in a row. The breakfast BLT was different and delicious. If you sit outside, the hummingbirds will entertain you! Well worth a trip!

We enjoyed a quiet peaceful dinner on the porch listening to the birds and watching deer roam the fields. Our food was delicious. I had quail with duck sausage and both were very tasty and cooked to perfection. My husband enjoyed the lobster risotto. I had to try the strawberry rhubarb pie after hearing another table rave about it. The... More
