Delicious food - didn't seem like much food for $41

I stopped in for a first time visit - I ordered carry out. They packed the hot food in one bag and cold food in a separate bag, much appreciated. I ordered crab dip ($10.99) - small portion with five slices of bread; bowl of cream of crab soup ($6.99); side salad ($5.99); spaghetti and meatballs... read more

Basta Pasta has become the main date night spot for my wife and I, a popular place for us to take the kids, and a must-go whenever my Mom comes to town. The sauces are all wonderful. My favorite is the fish or chicken francaise, while my wife prefers the chicken marsala.

The salad & bread were fantastic. The Chicken Parmesan was so tender and delicious. We all just loved the spaghetti sauce/gravy that was on top of the Chicken Parmesan and on top of the side of pasta that came with the meal. Another guest really enjoys the Chicken Marsala and she get it every time she goes there. The menu... More

The appetizer special was good but out of three seafood skins one had most of the potato uncooked. The chef's special was lobster ravioli, shrimp and sauce on top was great, however the pasta was under cooked and pasty. When remedying the problem both were reheated and not replaced. This made the pasta crunchy on the bottom edges. This with... More

Having tried BASTA PASTA for lunch & dinner, we chose today to do lunch again. Our host/server George took us to the requested booth seating. He went over the specials and brought us our drinks. George was training a new server, Chris, but did not lose focus on giving us great service and indulging our picture request. I got the... More

Basta Pasta-my first time dining in the fallston BP and will be the last. Food was horrible. Three of nine entrees were returned and removed from the bill. Worst crab cakes in Harford county. Server was the girlfriend of the owners son. She was rude and the owner was obnoxiously rude and unapologetic. Way too crowded and extremely loud. Don't... More

All food for 10 diners came at different times. Service was poor. The owners response to dissatisfaction was defensive and offensive. Food wasn't good. NO reason to return

This is a place you can take the kids or just the two of you. Staff was very good from the time we were seated never waiting long for our food. The stuffed shells were great my wife had ravioli that were also very good!

I've been there three times and have never left less than satisfied. They have a very attentive and courteous staff, a nice atmosphere, and every item I have ordered so far has been really good. So far, the Chicken Chesapeake is the best thing I have tried on their menu.

Every Monday features half-price wine, all day. I ordered a crab cake. It was good but not great. There were a few big lumps of crab meat, the rest filler. They used to be better in the past. It came with a very fresh and delicious salad and breadsticks. I chose the French fries for my side and they were... More
