Charming

Enjoyed a 'ladies' tea with my daughter, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. Nestled among the stores in an historical building, the setting is perfect for a Victorian tea room. It was a friend's birthday this past weekend and she decided that she wanted to do high tea to celebrate. This was my first time attending a tea. All of her guests (including me) all wore either a hat or fascinator for this event. It was so much fun! 4 of us had the Latte Da Chai. It was delicious.... More

Wow, what a feast! Good value for lots of tasty treats. Each guests gets to choose a pot of tea from a list of 30 kinds. We are two hefty guys and couldn't finish all the goodies: freshly baked scones, fruit, finger sandwiches, cookies, and cake. We were surrounding by ladies out for afternoon tea plus even a whole family... More

Yesterday my mom and I had afternoon tea at Tea On The Tiber for the first time and enjoyed ourselves! We got to sit in the parlor and I felt like I really was back in a Victorian tea room. The atmosphere was great! My mom and I got to choose tea of our choice and they had a large... More

This is such a fun and delicious experience! The tea selection is great-the chocolate with cream is my favorite, oh and the lemon scones are to die for. This is definitely enough food for lunch in a victorian atmosphere. Great for a special occasion

A very pleasant afternoon! The waitstaff was friendly and helpful, and the selection of teas was great. The food was very tasty, some of the best scones I've ever had. The atmosphere is wonderful, I really felt like I had traveled back to 18th century England! Must do when you're in Ellicott City!

What a great experience Tea on the Tiber was!!! The setting is a Victorian tea house on Main Street. Our waitress was terrific.....dressed in the garb of the day, great sense of humor, and lots of fun. There were lots of hot and iced teas to choose from on the menu. I selected the mango iced tea. What a treat.... More

Random statements like that is what comes out of the charming, hilarious wait staff at Tea on the Tiber. The shop is adorable, the china and settings are gorgeous, the food and tea is delicious and the overall experience is one you don't want to miss. The only rough part about it is the stairs being very tiny and steep.... More

It's a very nice tea experience, nice ambiance, good service. It's in a historic area with lots of boutiques and antique type stores. Parking on the street but 2 lots are a short walk away, not a big deal. Some free parking and some metered parking. Make a reservation in advance.

My mother made a reservation for her, myself, and my sister to attend tea. She was told her reservation was confirmed. My sister arrived first on the day of the tea and gave the name of the reservation. The hostess checked off the reservation and my sister saw the name was confirmed. The hostess then went to see if the... More
