What a great experience Tea on the Tiber was!!! The setting is a Victorian tea house on Main Street. Our waitress was terrific.....dressed in the garb of the day, great sense of humor, and lots of fun. There were lots of hot and iced teas to choose from on the menu. I selected the mango iced tea. What a treat.... More

Random statements like that is what comes out of the charming, hilarious wait staff at Tea on the Tiber. The shop is adorable, the china and settings are gorgeous, the food and tea is delicious and the overall experience is one you don't want to miss. The only rough part about it is the stairs being very tiny and steep.... More

It's a very nice tea experience, nice ambiance, good service. It's in a historic area with lots of boutiques and antique type stores. Parking on the street but 2 lots are a short walk away, not a big deal. Some free parking and some metered parking. Make a reservation in advance.

My mother made a reservation for her, myself, and my sister to attend tea. She was told her reservation was confirmed. My sister arrived first on the day of the tea and gave the name of the reservation. The hostess checked off the reservation and my sister saw the name was confirmed. The hostess then went to see if the... More

Casual Americana tea room in a historic stone house serves large portions of tasty scones, sandwiches and German chocolate cake accompanied by a generously-sized teapot of your favorite...yes...tea of choice. The Tiber is not your river in Rome but the creek behind it provides a charming afternoon setting.

I've been wanting to have afternoon tea at an actual tea room for a while now. I called on Monday evening to make a reservation for my mother and I, and they called back Tuesday morning to confirm. The women I spoke with on the phone was very nice and courteous, and answered any questions I had. Our reservation was... More

Went there with a group of 28 for my daughter's wedding shower. Couldn't have been more pleased. Ms . Linda was extremely helpful in every way from the time we made the reservation all the way through the end of the event. I purchased linen in the colors we wanted and they used it and even provided additional runners for... More

I was recently at this place with friends and was very dissapointed. What are they thinking serving German Choclate Cake in a "Victorian" Tea Room? Also, the triangular "scones" were cinnamon flavored....cinnamon?...really?? The management apparently has a good sense of humor....or maybe just no clue...then to add insult to injury they serve some kind of whipping cream instead of clotted... More

The room was well appointed as a Victorian Tearoom. The waitress looked good in her black uniform and white apron. Service was good. The scones were large and tasty. We had to ask for additional clotted cream and strawberry jam. We asked for it and got it right away. The chocolate cake was BIG! The price was in line with... More

I celebrated my Bridal Shower here with 25 ladies and I loved it. Two words Charming and Delightful. The warm scones are a must have. Truly enjoyed the experience.
