Went here with my wife for dinner and was thoroughly impressed. Loved the food, service was great and the ambiance of the historic building was amazing.
Really nice pub for a quality meal. Friendly. Great selection of craft beers. Quiet upstairs or fun in the bar area.
We celebrated multiple family birthdays together in the upstairs at EMBCo. Good food, reasonable prices, good service, nice décor. We had a great time together. Parking was a little bit challenging; ended up at a lot up the street since the street and nearby main lot were packed on a Sunday afternoon.
We went to dinner with another couple and had a nice time. The atmosphere is pleasant and we sat upstairs which was quiet and warm. We ordered pretzel sticks and brie appetizer. They were both yummy. The pretzels came warm and soft and salted just right! For the main dishes, we had shrimp salad, steak and crab cake, ribs and... More
We met friends here last Friday night for drinks and dinner. We haven't been here for awhile and looked forward to the kraft beers and good food. We weren't disappointed. The Pale Ale was great and so were our appy's: calamari and the Bavarian Soft Pretzel Sticks. The ladies ordered the shrimp/crab penne and thoroughly enjoyed it. My friend ordered... More
food average, bartenders not the most hospitable, would not run back, but would eat there again if we were in the area for a burger.
Located right on Main Street, a short walk from the Welcome Center we found the Brewing Company. We were immediately welcomed and given a choice of seating. The food was very good, made fresh and the Pumpkin Ale which is made in-house and they go through 1000 gallons per season was a delight with the chillled glass topped with cinnamon... More
My husband and I have eaten here twice. Why we came back the second time, I just don't know. Both times my meal was awful. the first time I had a steak special (tough and tasteless). The second time I had the rockfish special. It was fried tiny bits of fish swimming in grease. we won't ever go back.
We stopped in on a Monday for lunch while strolling Ellicott City's Main Street. We were seated immediately, and our server was friendly and helpful. They were promoting their Pumpkin Ale, as well as several daily lunch specials for only $5.99. We both had the Rockfish Filet Sandwich, with a cup of Shrimp and Lobster Bisque. Both were tasty. Our... More
I have always been a big fan of Ellicott Mills; the food is usually consistently good and their micro-brewery produces some awesome beers. If you like a sweet malty beer I heartily recommend the Maerzen. They have an interesting menu consisting of German-style dishes like Jaegerschnitzel and Kasseler Rippchen as well as a variety of other dishes with both a... More
