My Sister-in-Law and her husband decided to return to the place they were married 16 years ago for an anniversary celebration with 14 friends and family (total of 16 diners). It turns out it was a very bad idea. While the vintage house and grounds are pretty much the same as they were 16 years ago, the food and service... More

I love French food, it's my Favorite and this neighborhood gem does not disappoint.:) The location is so beautiful in such a beautiful Historic home and you get really surprised when you stumble upon the neighborhood Gem as it sits almost hidden among a Residential area. I love it and go very often. It's by far my Favorite Restaurant in... More

We had a farewell dinner for one of our work colleagues here. I would describe The Elkridge Furnace Inn as a nice, classy restaurant with a lot of history. It's definitely a nice place to take a date. The atmosphere seems very romantic. The service was perfect. Our server, Rafael, was very friendly and attentative with our needs. He gave... More

The Elkridge Furnace Inn feels very old-school. The building itself is a quaint, rustic building with a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony site. The waitstaff and busboys are very professional and helpful, with a decidedly classic service appeal. The food itself is absolutely delicious. I got the filet mignon with blue cheese on top and potato, corn, lima bean hash and... More

We have eaten here for special occasions many times over the years. Excellent wine list. Great seasonal menus. Love the locally sourced produce incorporated into the menu. Not for children. The location is fabulous. It's an old historic inn turned into a restaurant. Even though you are 10 minutes from the airport you feel like you are 2 hours into... More

The personalized attention from the chef and wait staff is amazing! Creative food is served with artististic & creative display, along with succulent flavors for the palate, as well. There are several beautiful historic rooms in which to dine, including the original tavern area, which allows for most pleasing ambience, as well as, subdued voices. Yes, this can lend itself... Was here for a friend's 50th birthday party for a Sunday brunch. Thirteen people were invited as my friend's partner was paying for this social outing. Had a whole private room booked to ourselves for 12:00 p.m. and left at 2:00 p.m. without being rushed out the door. It is a very historic house and the prices you pay for... More

The Elkridge Furnace Inn is a historic inn circa 1744 which is nestled on the Patapsco River and is comprised of sixteen acres in the eastern corner of Howard County. It holds a unique niche in Maryland history. I had dinner on a Tuesday evening with three friends. Two of us ordered the Tuna Nicoise which had lettuce and beans... More

First time here and used a Groupon. Had the lamb and it was very good also offered a cheese platter with gluten free crackers. The kitchen was accommodating for my food allergies. Wife got the orzo dish and bourbon chocolate cake. Great meal and experience

Enjoy exquisite French food in a small shabby town that is 150 years past its prime. Elkridge was a port and terminus of the B&O railroad. Prices are kept remarkably low by the blue collar surroundings. You will enjoy a great meal for very little money.
