We like this place for brunch, good food and good pastries, don't like the wait to be seated though - they have a large selection of breakfast items with a Louisiana twist to the decor of the restaurant.

I went here on a Sunday afternoon and did not have to wait to be seated. They also have call ahead seating. I ordered the strawberry and cream mini waffles and they were really good. The service was just OK. After our food was delivered to the table we didn't see the waitress until we were almost finished eating. I... More

My Mom chose to go here for her birthday dinner. The server (Collin) made her feel very special & couldn't have done any more for us. The food took a little while to arrive but was worth it. The turkey & gravy is always good. The chicken pot pie was like home made. The brulee cheesecake was yummy, as was... More

Mimi's is really trying to get it right. They have a beautiful restaurant with lots of personality. The new menu is offers ample choice for most. We had Coq Au Vin, a burger and Chicken Parm. All were tasty. Of course we started with a cup of signature chicken corn chowder. Yum!

Called in reservations on a Friday night at 7:30. Arrived and found the restaurant not busy, a clue something was not like it has been in the past. They had our table set for 7 and we waited about 10 minutes for our waitress to come over (looked like she had 3 tables). She took our drink order (soda &... More

I just recently visited for a quick breakfast. The decor was beautiful! A lot of nooks and crannies of our booth made me feel like I was in France but other parts felt like a very classy American chain restaurant. And when it all comes down to it....Mimis IS an American chain restaurant and that is what you can expect... More

I ordered online for curbside pickup. I got to mimis parked in the curbside pickup spot and called to let them know I was there and waiting. The girl told me it would be ready in five minutes and the she would bring it out. After ten minutes I called again and got no answer. After thirty minutes I called... More

We made reservations well over a month in advance for a brunch party following my son's graduation. It was a combined party with another friend and we booked for 20 people. I checked the reservation a week before the party and both times (original booking and follow up) was assured we would have one table for all 20 people. Upon... More

You know, Mimi's for years was our breakfast of choice on weekends in the Elkridge area, primarily when we went to shop at Costco nearby (also see my review today, of Costco's pizza). We always got lots of value, good food, friendly service and really overall satisfaction with our visits. If this review was written some time ago, I would... More

The French Quarter in New Orleans has some great restaurants, both upscale and divey. Mimi's aims to be someplace in between. Dishes are French-inspired, but execution is down-to-earth and hearty like a good American country-style restaurant. It's a delicious and heart-warming fusion. Everything generally tastes great. Their hit-or-miss is the fruit they serve at breakfast. Whomever is responsible for their... More
