I've been going to Old Stein for years. I highly recommend going there for authentic German food. Best place in the area, well the only place, so it's a bonus that it's GREAT good!

I went here with a friend and the hostess who seemed ditzy took 10 minutes to seat us when several tables were open and clean there was not many people there due to the weather and time, it was winter and she asked if we wanted to sit outside. The waiter was slow and not attentive and he only had... More

I have eaten at the Old Stein on several occassions and seems each time is different. First time was great, then poor, then so so! Won't return!

We've been here on prior occasions, and have never had a bad meal/service. Our latest dining experience was no different. The "knocks" and "brats" were perfect for my husband. We opted for side salads, delicious with the house creamy dill dressing. I ordered the chicken Cordon Bleu schnitzel, spatzle with cheese and always delicious German red cabbage. Our daughter had... I have had German food before so I was very excited to find a place close to home to try. Getting there was a HASSLE!!! We even called the restaurant for help getting there, they were not much help. The parking lot is crazy, be ready for some off roading! The inside is very nice looking and gives you the... More

Had a really good meal out in the biergarten. It was a little chilly that evening but they had the heat lamps going. My meal was the special, rosemary crusted veal strips with a mushroom cream sauce, sauteed brussel sprouts and spatzle. It was so good I did not have any left to bring home. I would definitely be returning.

We live very close by and eat here fairly often. The food is always excellent and they always have specials that are worth a try. My husband recently had their rabbit special and said it was fantastic. I'm not a fan of sausages or beer(!), but always find something good on either the regular menu or specials and a nice... More

Had a really nice meal here with my family. Food was delicious, waitstaff was excellent. The night we were there, they had a shortage of beer tasting glasses... so as soon as you were finished with one, they would grab it from you. I'd suggest they should get more! Beyond that, excellent experience.

Had a great meal outside in the beer garden. Oktoberfest on tap with some authentic polka music. Had the pretzel appetizer and the crab soup. Great food and atmosphere..
